The American pop singer's concert, Katy Perry Rocks for Relief on Saturday, November 14, at the MOA Concert Grounds in Pasay, Katy's way to raise funds for the benefit of survivors of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.
Initially, the American band Boys Like Girls was supposed to open the show. But due to a conflict of schedules, big artists hopped in, making the concert even bigger than it already is.
Journey's Arnel Pineda and Neal Schon, American rock band MAE, and our very own Jed Madela are all set to support Katy's cause.
All net proceeds of Katy Perry Rocks for Relief will be donated to the concert's sole beneficiary, the Philippine National Red Cross. The event will also serve as a venue for people to deliver their donations in kind.
