"It was pretty good... It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be," actress Rhian Ramos smiled after surviving the 3-kilometer challenge at The Fort in Taguig City

Being slender isn't enough for a healthy lifestyle. Young actress Rhian Ramos decided to alter her diet and take up a new routine recently.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Rhian last February 21 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig where she participated in Century Tuna's first-ever Superbods Run.

Some of the celebrities who attended the event include Derek Ramsay, Maricar Reyes, Georgina Wilson, Iza Calzado, Victor Basa, Jon Avila, Georgina Wilson, and Sen. Pia Cayetano, among others.

"I started looking at my lifestyle and I wanted to live a healthier one," revealed Rhian. "I took a little break from work, enrolled myself in a gym, got a trainer and just decided that maybe I should eat better and start working out."

The idea for Rhian to run for physical fitness came from her personal trainer. She joined the early morning event to test the waters, that's why she did the 3-kilometer race instead of 5 kms.

"I didn't want to embarrass myself," smiled the Kapuso star. "I didn't pick something I knew I couldn't handle."

Rhian finds her first running experience "enjoyable." But, with a laugh, she confessed to "cheating in between" so she could catch a quick breather, especially "after I saw someone tripped."

The mestiza actress continued, "I wasn't a sporty person growing up. It is only now that I'm trying to get into it [sports]. Growing up though, I've always loved swimming."
