Relive good ol' 80s music through English pop by China Crisis! The duo will perform at the Eastwood Mall on January 21 and at the Venice Piazza on January 22.

PRESS STATEMENT:

"China Crisis, the English pop group of the '80s who inspired us with their songs and bluesy reggae comes to Manila in a series of concerts this January.

"Travel back in time with their hit songs Wishful Thinking, Black Man Ray, King in a Catholic Style, Tragedy and Mystery, African and White, among others, as they perform live on January 21 at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, Eastwood City, Quezon City, and on January 22, at the Venice Piazza, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig

"China Crisis debuted in 1981 with the single "African and White." But the third single from their 1983 album, "Wishful Thinking" became China Crisis' biggest hit, reaching number 9 in the UK and charting all over Europe. It was voted most popular song of the week on the Swedish radio show Poporama in the spring of 1984.

"China Crisis' most recent project is their live album, Acoustically Yours, and released in autumn of 1995, to critical acclaim. It showed a China Crisis as brilliant as ever, being confident about the power in their songs.
