Charice: From singing sensation to style risk-taker

Charice began her showbiz journey at age seven by joining singing contests in town fiestas and, later on, in TV programs like ABS-CBN’s Little Big Star. In 2007, she hit it big when YouTube videos of her performances in a Korean talent show caught the attention of music lovers worldwide, including American TV host and actress Ellen DeGeneres, who then gave the Filipina belter a guest spot in her popular show.
