Yeng Constantino admits receiving a barrage of text and Twitter messages after Charice's recent press conference, where Pinoys first caught her new look.

“Marami talagang nag-text...I checked online and saw Charice’s new look," said Yeng.

And do they have similar hairstyles?

The Pinoy Dream Academy winner says, "Well, medyo may pagkakahawig nga, pero wala naman problem dun.

"Sabi nga niya, dun siya masaya at yun ang tunay na siya, so kailangan natin i-respeto yun.”

The hairstyle she chose then, according to ihairstyles2012.com, "creates a well-defined frame to create an impression of a perfectly proportionate face."

For Yeng's part, it complemented her public persona—an edgier  artist yet one you could relate with.

These days, however, she's sporting a new hairdo.

She introduced her new look in ASAP 2012, where she also received a Platinum Record Award for her album Yeng Versions Live, last March 18.

“I am happy that people liked my new look. I have the best people helping me with how I look, so I am very thankful!” exclaims the Pop Rock Princess.

The Kapamilya singer adds that part of the plan of Cornerstone, her management team, is to constantly reinvent her image.

“Coincidentally, I am scheduled to play with my look again,” says Yeng. “So, ‘eto medyo kulut-kulutan na ang drama ng hair ko."
