Pinoy Big Brother Double Up ex-housemates Melissa Cantiveros and Jason Francisco are set to star in various TV shows in their home network ABS-CBN.

Melai, as Melissa is often called, was joined by Paul Jake Castillo, Johan Santos and Tibo Jumalon in facing the media during the February 27 press conference for the Big Five at the Baguio Country Club.

She told members of the press that her boyfriend Jason would be unable to join the Kapamilya Karavan show since he was supposed to be taping for Kokey@Ako last Saturday. Melai also mentioned that they will be part of the Sam Milby-Maja Salvador starrer Precious Hearts Romances Presents Impostor.

Meanwhile, Paul Jake and Johan will soon be seen in an upcoming installment of Your Song that is scheduled to air its pilot episode on March 14. They will be joined by fellow PBBDU ex-housemates Tom Rodriguez, Hermes Bautista, Rica Paras, Sam Pinto, Cathy Remperas and Riza Patria.

During the presscon, Melai was asked if their loveteam is for real or just for reel.

"Actually, for real po talaga," she replied. "Ayaw nga naming tawaging loveteam kasi pag loveteam, parang showbiz na showbiz. Kaya nga minsan hindi kami nagpapansinan ni Sweetie Pie [her term of endearment for Jason]. Actually, nagmamahalan naman po talaga kami. Kung sino man ang nag-iisip na it's just for showbiz, mag-isip naman po kayo. Kami na lang po bahala sa aming pagmamahalan."

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) also asked Melai how she is dealing with all the fame and attention.

"Noong hindi pa po ako pumasok sa Bahay ni Big Brother, meron na po akong five percent fame," she quipped. "Pero ngayon, ang mga nag-idol sa akin, may mga mayayaman... Over, over ang shock ko!"

How does she react to those who say that her actions are irritating because she is overacting or OA?

"Actually, hindi ko po alam na OA na pala ako. Pasensiya na kayo."

As the Big Winner of PBBDU, what does Melai plan to do with her cash prize?

"Itatago ko po sa bangko. Itatago ko lang siya, magtataguan po kami!" she joked.

Melai also opened up about her family background. "Only girl po ako sa family. Apat kaming magkakapatid. Ako ang nagbibigay ng strength and courage sa family namin. Ang family ko mahilig tumawa pero minsan, may pagka-harass kaming pamilya. Akala ng iba, nagbubugbugan po kami pero masaya na kami sa ganun."

After the presscon, security personnel escorted the ex-housemates as they rushed out of the Baguio Country Club function hall to prepare for their show at SM Baguio The Drive.

SURPRISE APPEARANCE BY JASON. After the presscon, very few people were left inside the venue, so everyone was surprised to see Jason Francisco walk in while a cameraman documented his arrival.
