The bride's gown, a Victorian-inspired number, was a bouffant in duchess satin, with sleeves made of fine stretch tulle dotted with pearls and semi-precious stones. It was designed by Edward Cheng, who also designed the groom's floral barong. Their was held on December 4, 2004, at the Royale Tagaytay Estates Clubhouse in Tagaytay City.

The romance of Marissa Sanchez and Ian Nava was pretty much like Marissa's brand of comedy—quick, funny, and packed with a punch.

 

A whirlwind courtship of sorts started with a daylong wooing in Sweden while Ian wheeled Marissa around in a wheelchair. The couple eventually got serious and went out for four years. Finally, they tied the knot in a simple Christian ceremony in Tagaytay.
