Lara Fabregas and Raymond Bagatsing met at a party last 2000. Then their paths crossed again when he visited a friend at The Lark rehearsal where Lara was playing Joan of Arc.

Their first date on June 9, 2001, was to a French ballet at the Cultural Center. Eventually, Raymond would accept a role in The Lark as the investigator who orders Joan’s death. But, says Raymond’s manager Francis Villacorta, before the two could even throw their lines on stage, Lara and Raymond knew somehow that their love for each other would light up.
