Her showbiz career has taken a back seat recently, but Dawn Zulueta still has her hands full with socio-civic projects. One of them is the National Livelihood Trade Fair 2009.
The project is owned by Congressional Spouses Foundation, Inc.—where Dawn, being the wife of Davao del Norte representative Anton Lagdameo, is an active member—in cooperation with the PCHI (Philippine Chamber of Handicraft Industries).
On September 24, at 10:30 a.m., the said fair at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, will officially open.
In a text message sent to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, Dawn issues an invite: "We're asking for your kind support in this project. Lots of fabulous finds from the many regions of our country, great gift ideas for Christmas too!"
Moreover, she says proudly, "Our very own specialties from Davao also being sold there!"
