Star Magic, ABS-CBN's talent arm, continues to help fellow Pinoys who were direly affected by recent typhoons. After walking the ramp, 70 of its talents joined the benefit concert held last Friday, November 13, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Aside from ticket sales, the talent fee of each artist will go to ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya Relief Operations.

After a successful series of concerts in the U.S. recently, Star Magic's World Concert Tour was presented at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last Friday, November 13.
The concert aimed to raise funds for the victims of the typhoons that recently hit the country. Star Magic artists waived their talent fees for this concert, thus augmenting ticket sales.
'Yong mga perang ibinigay niyo po para mapanood kami ay mapupunta po sa Sagip Kapamilya Relief Operations. Not only that, all artists you will see this evening, we are performing for free para mas madagdagan pa ang ibibigay natin," announced Piolo Pascual at the start of the three-hour concert.
Unlike the earlier concert series, Star Magic prepared a more extravagant program for the Star Magic World Concert Tour Live at the Araneta Coliseum. It also showcased more of its talents—almost 70 Kapamilya stars participated in this benefit concert.
Leading the concert were Star Magic's prime talents like Vina Morales, Diether Ocampo, Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, John Lloyd Cruz, and Bea Alonzo.
It was surprising to see Claudine Barretto as one of the performers that night, one month after her controversial film contract signing with Viva Films.
Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, and Jake Cuenca Tayong Dalawa took off their actor's hat and became performers and hosts for the evening.
As expected, Pokwang and Chokoleit released their comic skills while hosting in between several performances.
Angelica Panganiban and Roxanne Guinoo did a sexy production number with fellow Kapamilya artists Wendy Valdez, Nina Dolino, Cassandra Ponti, and Erika Padilla. Next came the UD4 members—Shaina Magdayao, Maja Salvador, Rayver Cruz, and Mickey Perz—who performed a Latin Hip-Hop dance.
ABS-CBN's singing talents also performed inspirational songs like "Did I Make You Proud," "I'm Alive," and 'Flying Without Wings." Among the singers were Rica Peralejo, Nikki Valdez, Jed Madela, Sheryn Regis, and Nikki Gil.
Also joining them were Pinoy Dream Academy alumni Yeng Constantino, Jay-R Siaboc, Ronnie Liang, Irish Fullerton, Liezel Garcia, Bugoy Drillon, and Laarni Lozada.
During one of the segment gaps, Angelica and Jayson Gainza went on stage as Krissy and Bhoy—the characters impersonating Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda in an SNN parody that Angelica and Jayson did in their comedy show Banana Split.
Gigger Boys Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Dino Imperial, Chris Gutierrez, Aaron Villaflor, and AJ Perez participated in a couple of dance numbers with other Star Magic talents.
The Coverboys—Jake Cuenca, Zanjoe Marudo, Jon Avila, Victor Basa, Rafael Rosell, and Xian Lim—sang Black Eyed Peas's "I Gotta Feeling" before playing a sexy version of "Trip to Jerusalem" with seven selected ladies from the audience.
PEP also spotted their co-member Will Devaughn in the audience (he's not with Star Magic though).
Acoustic singer Nyoy Volante, JM Rodriguez, WCOPA grand champion Rhap Salazar together sang "Man in the Mirror" as a tribute to Michael Jackson. Towards the end of the performance, Sam Concepcion imitated the King of Pop's signature dance moves.
Before the finale, a video presentation called "I Pledge" was shown to the audience. Each Star Magic talent gave his/her pledge for different causes, like setting a good example for the youth, being a good taxpayer, being nationalistic, and protecting mother nature.
"Together, we commit to stay true to our pledges. Together, we pledge to live in honesty and with integrity because together, we pledge; together, we will make a difference," the Star Magic talents vowed.
The pledge on video was followed Vina and Piolo's solo performances. Piolo did a duet with Claudine, singing Jim Brickman's "The Gift."
The show ended with all the Star Magic talents, who were in all-white attire, gathered on stage. In chorus, they sang Yeng's winning piece, "Hawak Kamay."
