Before 2009 ended, two lovely ladies celebrated their birthdays.

Eleven days later, Lorna Tolentino, 48, threw a party at Lolo Dad's Brasserie in 6750 Makati City. Her actual birthday is December 23. (CLICK HERE to view gallery.)

Both women went through a bit of rough time.

In March 2009, the Concert Queen broke up with Jomari Yllana. She didn't see that coming.

A year after the death of Rudy Fernandez, the Grandslam Queen admitted that she still misses her husband.

But only the positive energies were welcomed during the two celebrations. Celeb well-wishers arrived with gifts of love and support for the celebrators, who were brimming with gratitude—for having successful projects this year and being surrounded by friends all-year round!
