Fashion One, an international 24/7 fashion channel, broadcast locally via Destiny Cable, was launched on September 11 at the Republiq, Resorts World in Pasay City.
The new cable channel caters to the discerning tastes of the affluent and the fashion savvy. It aims to be a one-stop shop for the latest in the world of fashion and entertainment. It is a global television station that showcases models, Hollywood celebrities, movies, reality TV shows, celebrity lifestyles, parties and events.
At One, The Manila Launch, collections of the country's top young designers were shown to the fashion-forward crowd. Featured were the designs of Mitzi Quilendrino, Louis Clarapols, Tina Daniac, Ivarluski Aseron, and Jerome Lorico.
Celebrities spotted that night were Ms. Universe 4th runnerup Venus Raj, Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2009 Pamela Bianca Manalo, actress Karen delos Reyes, actor Onemig Bondo and his wife, commercial model Valerie Bariou, radio jock turned TV host Sam Yg, Gary Estrada, Mickey Ferriols, host Bianca Gonzales, and ex-flames Lovi Poe and Jolo Revilla who came and left separately.
Fashion One is broadcast locally over Destiny Cable.
