A recent show in Agana, Guam almost didn’t push through when it was declared hazardous by the Guam Fire Department.

The Kababayan Jam mall show, headlined by Kapamilya stars Pokwang, Cristine Reyes, and Coco Martin, was slated to start at 3:30 PM on September 25 until it was temporarily delayed by authorities.

Approximately 5,000 people showed up at the Micronesia Mall that afternoon to watch the program— by far the largest crowd turnout at the mall, according to the event organizers.

Naturally, this became a cause for concern as the number of people had already exceeded the venue's maximum capacity.

Thankfully, precautionary measures were insured and the program eventually started around 5:00 PM.

The long wait was soon rewarded by satisfying performances from the show’s stars.

Comedienne and Happy Yippee Yehey host Pokwang rendered an energetic version of Lady Gaga's “Bad Romance” and belted out Celion Dion's “One Moment in Time.”

On the other hand, Reputasyon star Cristine Reyes sang popular OPM songs such as “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” and “Hawak Kamay” to the delight of the crowd.

Finally, everybody’s dream guy Coco Martin came out with a scream-inducing performance of “Tayong Dalawa”— the theme song of the soap opera that made the indie actor famous in the mainstream race.

The show was capped off with a dating game participated in by the stars and some lucky fans.

Several prizes were also given away courtesy of Globe-IT&E Kababayan SIM.
