Mariel Rodriguez changes mind about having a Catholic wedding; says she fell in love with Robin Padilla all over again

  "Talagang nakita ko ang pagmamahal ni Robin sa 'kin sa trip na ito. Sabi ko nga, in this trip, Robin made me fall in love all over again," says Mariel Rodriguez.

Pinatunayan ni Robin Padilla kung gaano niya kamahal si Mariel Rodriguez sa sorpresang Europe trip na ibinigay niya sa kanyang maybahay na tumagal ng halos isang linggo. 

Pinagpaalam ni Robin sa management ng ABS-CBN si Mariel na mag-leave sa noontime show na Happy Yipee Yehey! upang makasama sa Europe trip na ito.

Naging usap-usapan na kaya pupunta sa Europe ang dalawa ay para humingi ng permission sa Vatican para makasal sila sa Catholic Church dahil isang Muslim si Robin. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Noong Miyerkules ng umaga, August 3, dumating ang dalawa mula sa  Europe.

Dumiretso na si Mariel sa ABS-CBN para mag-host ng Happy Yipee Yehey!. Bagamat may jet lag pa siya, kitang-kita pa rin ang energy nito sa kanyang hosting that day.

Matapos ang Happy Yipee Yehey! ay nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na kamustahin si Mariel tungkol sa kanilang Europe trip ni Robin.

"Masaya, sobrang masaya, sobra akong nag-enjoy!" bulalas niya.



Kuwento pa ni Mariel, "I have magnets, halos lahat ng mga pinupuntahan kong lugar, I bought magnet at nilalagay ko yun sa refrigerator namin, to remind me of the place na napuntahan ko na."

Ano ba ang purpose nila sa trip na ito?

"Actually, wala akong alam. It is just a surprise! 

"Robin was the one who arranged everything, hindi talaga ako.

"Parang honeymoon, birthday celebration ko, pati anniversary na rin.

"Parang all in one na. Pinagsama-sama na."

Ano ang mga lugar na pinuntahan nila?

"We went to Rome and Amsterdam," sabi niya.

"Sobrang ganda sa Amsterdam, sarap ng weather, sobrang cute ng Holland. Yung mga bahay na magkakatabi, sobrang ganda talaga.

    my goodness, got too busy and then i find out that the big mouth is making kalat here with its kayabangan pala lols. quit that BS and galing galingan. first, meron daw teenage volunteers sa paris who speak five languages. stop the nonsense lols. then this one about ikea. pati furniture store na di naman siya inaano, inaway lols. kahit kelan, ang negative ng bacteria na ito. the right term is affordable. with the affordability, of course one must not expect durability. but i've seen the furniture and they are attractive too. i'm sure pag sinabi ng idol niya that she buys from this store, this BS will praise ikea to no end naman. sauce. then it - yes, that thing is an IT lols - talks about uncouth pinoys. ikaw lang yon, inday lols. you put down your fellow pinoys. read all your posts and your colonial mentality shines thru like BS lols

    no.99 try harder! truth hurts? affected much? hehehe. di mo afford kahit Ikea lng? Awww! Sabagay mamamasahe ka pa papuntang EU and States to get into this CHEAP swedish furniture shop, na incidentally ay favorite shop ni Nuibi. Too bad you cannot visualize what am talking about, I won't bother explaining how cheap Ikea is and why Nuibi, you and your cohorts sound sooo pathetic. It is like teaching the concept of color to someone blind since birth.

    Bagay na bagay sila. Sa palagay ko mas mabuti pang walang Catholic wedding para pag nagloko na c Robin ay may way out c Mariel. Sa ngayon dapat i-enjoy lang ni Mariel attention ni Robin. Ino-overwhelm kasi nya ang babae sa atensyon tapos sya na rin ang nagsasawa mismo. Baka kung c Bea mas nauna nya na-meet baka ito ang niligawan nya. Maski kasi mas bata sa kanya like Vina Morales at Judy Ann Santos naging girlfriend nya yata.

    When I say CHEAP, I mean it in the European standard and how it is graded here. Say you can buy a cutlery, complete set worth 200 Euros, but with other shops you have to pay 500Euros. Of course 200Euros is not cheap but compared to other shops, it is CHEAP! Don't convert it to Philippine peso because obviously it would be expensive. And do not compare Ikea with products from Asia or Poland because that is another story. I am talking in European standard. To someone there who is suggesting that am a poser and not a resident of EU, dream on! It is Mariel's first time in Rome, she can express or gush if she feels like it even about spaghetti! Jealous type Nuibi?

    I repeat, IKEA IS A CHEAP SWEDISH FURNITURE SHOP, take it or leave it but it is cheap and I have a gut feeling they are in consortium with some Chinese companies because some of their products look like Chinese quality. I do not pretend to be someone else but a working class and tell you straight that I have been to Divisoria way back my Manila Days and many IKEA goods look like Divisoria quality. If there are rednecks, whitetrash, nigggerrrs, then obviously there are uncouth Pinoys also. Be that as it may, don't feel superior only because you know the name "mustard", if you watch spongebob, read archie comics, and walt disney shows as I do, mustard is always "shown and used" as it is part of day to day menu. If some Pinoys in Ikea do not know the exact name, give them time, it does not make them inferior. Nuibi you sound like Reggie Mantle. I hope you know him!

    sighs!!! sana ganyan din ang hubby ko na kasing romatic ni Robin....anyhow lucky you mariel kahit papaano! hwag lang masyadong pauto..u know binoe is muslim n allowed to marry 4..lol just saying! kaya namnamin mo ang kasiyahan mo this time tho.....good luck na laang sa yo Mariel krung krung!

    hahaha...natatawa ako sa dalawang yan..lalo na kay mariel..patay na patay at mahal na mahal c robin..iiwan din nmn sya..hintayin lang nya mga 3years pa..napaka PDA pa ni mariel..proud na proud na pinakasalan sya ni robin..kahit ilan nmn pede pakasalan ni robin eh...ahahahha

    my friends say if u dont want to buy made in china furniture go to ikea kaya mostly yun mga gusto makatipid sa ikea pumupunta kasi cheap talaga furniture nila compared sa ibang furniture store then one time exagg pagkakakwento sakin na magaganda daw ang furniture sa ikea sad to say d ako na-empress cheaply made parin just like made n china. ewan ko pero nilibot ko talaga store ng ikea na malapit d2 sakin wala akong makitang mamahalin 2thou dollars cabinets plus sofa and the quality is not that impressive. kahit nakakairita si transducer i think nagsasabi sya ng totoo...at saka yun mga pinay nga d2 parang mga nasa bundok ang iingay lalo kapag grupo tapos kung manamit daig pa yun nagpapabayad sa kanto hindi naman alhat pero karamihan kakapal pa ng make-up inggit ba? hindi nakakahiya lang pag natatanong ako kung pilipina din silang gaya ko aww.

    transducer hey hindi lahat ng product ng IKEA ay mura or affordable oo nga at marami ka mabibiling mura pero madami ding mga mahal na gamit na pede mo bilhin like mga kitchen showcases nila na kung i convert mo sa pesos eh aabot ng hundred of thousands and that doesnt include mga gamit like dishwashing etc etc. yan ay mga cabinets lang. kaloka! sa SM mura din mga bilihin PERO marami ding MAMAHALIN. i still go to IKEA and buy some cheap things there..

    hahahahaha nakakatawa c mariel..parang wlang trust kay robin oh?hay naku!takot c mariel iwanan ni robin kasi cya nman ang may gusto eh?whahahaa mariel dont be to obsessed baka isang araw magualt ka iwanan kana nalang ni robin.napaka childish mo?ang guy sakal2x nah?bigla nlang yang mag drama..give robin some space..para makahinga yan..this time nag pka lalaki lng yan kasi patay na patay ka sa kanya...remember robin is muslim can marry many times...hahahahahahahahahaha

    The thing is Mariel shouldn't go around flaunting whatever she and Robin does as if she's the legal wife and such. She has the right siguro to flaunt, pero mangilabot ka naman 'te, technically "other woman" ka lang talaga. It would've been better she didn't push for something that is so obviously not feasible. She just made a laughing stock of herself.

    the best way to show your love and devotion to each other is to stay together for the rest of your lives, thru thick and thin, no matter what happens. hindi nyo na kailangang magpakasal ng ilang beses kung saan-saan. yung gagastusin nyo, ibigay nyo nalang sa mahihirap or better yet, set up a foundation that helps the poor.
