A lot of people think that celebrities love to indulge in expensive bags, shoes and clothes.

Well, cross out Saab Magalona’s name from your list of celebrities who splurge for a head to toe outfit.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) got the chance to interview Saab last June 28, at the presscon of Hindi Ka Na Mag-Iisa, held at the 17th floor of GMA Network in Timog Ave., Quezon City.

“I will never spend so much for a bag or a pair of shoes,” said the the Kapuso actress.

She may look girly but on a typical day with family and friends, you’ll catch her wearing just shorts, shirt, and sneakers.

But, as her job requires, Saab is learning to sport more “kikay” outfits like sundresses, skirts, high heels or stilettos.

Then, another confession: “Kasi never talaga akong naghi-heels, so tina-try ko talaga.

“Kasi pinagsasabihan na ako na kailangan mag-heels ako, mga ganyan sa ganitong presscons.

“So, okay, e, hindi pa ako matangkad kaya nagte-training na ako.”

LAIDBACK AND COMFY. Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst is just perfect as her style icon.

Kirsten is mostly seen wearing a loose top, shorts, and flat shoes— perfectly describing the look that Saab is most comfortable wearing.

So, the perfect shops where she loves to buy clothes are Maldita, where she finds the “very girly na punk” pieces, and Topshop where she finds the “perfect size” for her figure.

As for her bags, shoes and accessories, SM is a one-stop shop for Saab because as she says it, “they really have it all.”

Of course, mom knows best when it comes to her children, so Saab gets a fair share of advice—and stuff—from her mom Pia Magalona when it comes to dressing up.

But mostly, Saab gets her mom’s designer bags.
