Local clothing brand Bench has enlisted another big shot celebrity to join its current roster of foreign endorsers, which includes American actor Liam Hemsworth and Korean pop star Lee Min Ho.
Through its official account on Twitter, Bench named Adam Levine, front man of pop-rock band Maroon 5 and The Voice coach, as the newest face of their brand.
“We officially welcome #GlobalBenchsetter @adamlevine to the Bench Family. So thrilled to have you as our newest endorser,” read one post on Twitter.
Adam also joins American Idol alumnus David Archuleta, American singer Joe Jonas, The Vampire Diaries actor Michael Trevino, Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale, and Korean group Super Junior members Lee Dong Hae and Choi Si Won.
In an article written on the ABS-CBN News website last Friday, September 14, company owner Ben Chan related how he and his team convinced Adam to endorse their brand.
He said their team sent Adam samples of their garments as a way of “persuading” him to endorse the Philippine clothing brand.
“I believe he liked the clothes that we sent him, that we showed him. Nagustuhan niya 'yong mga damit. That was one factor kung bakit nag-sign up siya," Ben further told ABS-CBN.
Adam was officially launched as an endorser on Monday, September 17, during the Benchsetter Fun Meet at the SMX Convention Hall in Pasay City.
Meanwhile, Adam and his Maroon 5 bandmates held a one-night concert on September 18, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The “Overexposed World Tour” concert stop in Manila was actually the band's third time to perform before the Filipino audience. (CLICK HERE to read related article)
