One of this year's biggest surprises in the fashion arena is Sarah Geronimo.

She previously described herself as "baduy," and her wardrobe, "manang."

But who could miss those stylish dresses that flaunted her curves.

Remember the nude stretch dress with black lace overlay she wore on the cover of Cosmopolitan?

How about her short dark blue sequined dress with sheer mid-calf hemline at the red-carpet premiere of Won't Last A Day Without You?

But those were just a prelude.

Sarah became quite upfront in telling PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during the press conference of Unica Hija, the clothing line she endorses, that next year, she wantsto be  more adventurous when it comes to her outfits.

"Gusto ko pong mas maging daring na," she said, but the caveat, "pero, hindi naman yung sobrang skin revealing po. Yung kaya ko lang."

She admitted to feeling a bit uncomfortable whenever she's clad in short dresses. "Kasi hindi pa po ako komportable sa legs ko. Kailangan ko pa siyang i-work-out. Gusto ko yung talagang toned na toned siya," she explained.

STYLE ICONS. She donned a girly dress that evening, but her shoes—a pair of glittery blue Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe pumps—gave it a touch of flair.

When asked about her style icons, she cited Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Beyonce.

At 23, she is still a girl at heart, but is bound to surprise the fashion watchers.
