CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS. The author mentions the three Cs of Christmas decorating: Christmas tree, carolers, and cookies.
Put the Christmas tree on top of the priority list.
It is the "emblem of the season," as Jenni writes, that gets the holiday spirit flowing in the household.
As it sits in your living room for the entire family to see, it helps everyone to be inspired and get creative with their own decorating ideas.
Second, when you decorate, think about the carolers and the visitors as well.
"Decorate from the outside in," says the blogger.
Put a simple wreath on the front door to give guests the feeling that they are welcome in your home.
A jar of cookies, on the other hand, is a metaphor for "banking on your senses."
She underlines, there's no need to ruin your budget with expensive décor. Just recycle existing items and give them a different look.
Example: Put old Christmas tree balls on a clear crystal plate. Place a cinnamon-scented candle in the middle and use the whole thing as a centerpiece. Light up the candle to give the air a warm, Christmassy aroma.
