In a previous interview with YES!, Willie said he likes cruising the seas on his yachts because being at sea calms him: "Tahimik. Nakakapag-isip-isip ka. Minsan, diyan ako natutulog. Nasa laot kami. 'Tapos, paggising ko, dagat lahat. Sarap."

When YES! featured Willie Revillame in its January issue, it only included his four houses and the exterior of his two yachts, the M/V Wow Cruiser and the M/V Wow Cruiser II.
Last Holy Week of 2009, the former host of ABS-CBN's now defunct noontime show Wowowee and YES! Magazine's Showbiz's Most Powerful Entertainer took a three-day break from his busy schedule and brought his yachts to the world-famous island of Boracay for some R&R. He had friends on board, including ABS-CBN business unit head Edgar "Bobot" Mortiz, novelty songwriter Lito Camo, and the Wowowee on-camera assistant, known to us only by his nickname Bentong. It took the two ships 14 hours to get to Boracay from the Subic Yacht Club.
Willie let YES! take a peek into the Wow Cruiser II, giving our readers a taste of the cruising lifestyle of the rich, the famous, and the hardworking!
