Is Victor Basa changing careers now?

This was what PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) jokingly asked  Victor Basa when we spotted him busily taking photos during the press launch of Smart C+ health drink recently.

"Hobby lang 'to," Victor told PEP.

The former Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak actor said his interest in photography started in 2005. He was then using a Canon EOS 300D, which was considered a pretty decent entry-level Single Lens Reflex (SLR) digital camera.

Now, he owns a Canon 500D. But he's planning to get another camera that will suit his needs for making videos.

Victor disagreed especially if the person knows exactly what he/she needs.

He further explained, "Kasi sometimes, all of a sudden, you want this, you want that.

"But me, I've been using the kit lens for years, e. So far, decent naman ang photos ko, e.

"I'm not a professional naman, so I don't need professional stuff."

So far, Victor has no plans of making his hobby a profession.

The actor-model just enjoys taking photos, he said, "Kasi, siyempre, you want to preserve memories, e.
