She was born Anna Marie Falcon on September 18, 1982, to a Norweigian dad and a Filipina mom.

At the age of 10, she joined showbiz. At the age of 17, she joined the Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant. She didn't win the title, but she eventually became a contract star of Seiko Films. The film outfit's big boss Robbie Tan initially considered "Francine Da Silva" as her screen name, but later opted to change it into Francine Prieto.

Francine's turning point in her career was when she starred, with Diana Zubiri, in Liberated. Film after film followed after the said movie was shown, and Francine officially became one of the country's most in demand sexy stars.

It seems like Francine's acting talents didn't focus in sexy-themed roles alone as she ventured into fantaserye-dramas like Etheria and Encantadia.

Also a natural comedienne, Francine also had the viewers laughing in Bahay Mo Ba 'To. To date, she's a mainstay in Bubble Gang.
