Angelika Dela Cruz and her family are bound for Hong Kong Disneyland this summer.

In an interview on April 10, at the opening of Tanya Garcia’s Alcutraz Salon in Quezon City, the Biritera actress told  (Philippine Entertianment Portal) how excited she is to go on a trip with her family abroad.

“My sister Mika graduated lang, so I’m taking her, my other brother, asawa ko—lahat kami, magho-Hong Kong lang, Disneyland bonding lang for summer.”

This will be their second time to go on a summer getaway as they recently spent their Holy Week in Anilao, Batangas.

WORKING ON BIRITERA. Meanwhile, Angelika is still busy working on the GMA-7 primetime soap opera Biritera.

Here, she stars as Remy Capitollo, mother to Roseanne Capitollo played by new child actress Roseanne Magan.

“It’s doing well [in terms of ratings] kaya happy kami, happy kaming lahat,” she said.

The actress adds that she is very comfortable working with her co-stars Roseanne, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza De Castro, and others.

“Okay kami, lahat kami okay. We’re all very close.

“At saka, di ba, minsan sa set meron iyong hindi magkasundo, iyong kahit hindi kayo magkaaway, but you don’t like each other? Wala kaming gano’n.

“Everybody talaga is like family. We’re all on good terms, so masaya. Minsan pag walang taping lalabas kami, iyong gano’n.”

BALANCING TIME FOR FAMILY. With a bustling showbiz career under her belt, how does Angelika—a full time,   hands-on mom to three-year old son Gabby—manage her time between work and family?

“Isa lang ang tinatanggap kong work. Halimbawa, may soap, iyon lang—hindi na ako tatanggap ng kahit na ano’ng…kahit ano pa.

“Kasi para sa akin sagad na iyong three times a week na work. Sobra na nga iyon, e.

“Tapos hindi iyong [umaabot] hanggang umaga. Hanggang 3:00 AM lang [ang limit ko], gano’n lang.
