“Unang-una, medyo kulang na rin yung time. At the same time, parang siyempre…imbes na ie-exercise mo, pagising mo pa lang sa umaga, yung mga anak ko, parang nakakapit na sa ’king lahat.”
Gladys takes advantage of motherhood to keep herself in shape.
“Siguro, whenever I bond with them, para ka na ring nag-exercise. Medyo hahabulin mo si ganito, hahabulin mo yung youngest.
“O kaya naman, nagbe-breastfeed ka pa, di ba. So, siguro make use of your bonding with them as you exercise na rin, di ba?”
DIET CONSCIOUS. Gladys isn’t strict with her diet, but she does observe moderation.
“Sa diet, I watch what I eat. Kasi, like, hindi ako masyado sa pork, sa beef. Unang-una parang mahina yung panunaw ko, e.
“So I eat chicken, fish and vegetables and rice. Nagra-rice ako kung tanghali, ganyan.
“Kung minsan, ang style ko, ginagaya ko si Carmi Martin, my best friend.
"Kakain ako ng early dinner, as in, super early pa, five o’clock, four thirty, yung sabi nga, before six na para hindi ka magutom ng gabi, parang yun na yung pinaka-dinner mo.”
It's said that meals after six store up fat in our body the most.
“Tapos yung siguro pagkagising ko nakakaramdam ako ng gutom, I take coffee. Meron akong coffee nine-in-one. So, sa totoo lang, yung coffee sa 'kin, nawawala yung gutom ko, e.
“Pero siyempre nga, dapat healthy nga yung…kumbaga, everything in moderation.
“Huwag mong gutumin yung katawan mo kasi may isip yung muscles natin, e. Alam niya pag gugutumin mo siya. Mas lalo siyang mag-store ng fat.”
