Anne Curtis is one celebrity with a "toxic" schedule.

After hosting It’s Showtime, Anne has to make time for her upcoming TV soap Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw. Sometimes she also squeezes her endorsements and personal appointments in her tight schedule.

Recently, she went to the States, not for a vacation, but to shoot an indie film in Hollywood.

Despite all these opportunities, the actress-TV host believes that she has to have time for some rest and relaxation.

So, she asked her talent management if she could block off a few days in her schedule for her European getaway with boyfriend Erwan Heussaff.

“Thank God at pinayagan naman ako,” said Anne when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other media interviewed her after the launch of YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars last Monday, July 2.

The cover girl of YES!’s special issue says people need to take a short break from their jobs to avoid losing their passion.

She related, “I believe, you know, and I’ve always said this, as an actress, host or entertainer, you have to give yourself [a break].

“[It could be] anyone, not only in the entertainment industry, even as a job.

“You have to give yourself at least 15 days vacation kasi kung hindi, you will burn out. It becomes a job, it doesn’t become a passion. I’ve always done this, every year naman.”

The main reason Anne wants to go to Europe is to attend a music festival.

"Kasi I didn’t go to this year’s Coachella or ‘yong Splendor in the Grass kasi nga I was working. So, what we did this year, sabi ko, ‘If we do this, ito ‘yong time na aalis ako."

Although this will be her alone time with her boyfriend, Anne said, “Hopefully, we’ll be able to meet friends din at the music festival."
