A confident Denise Laurel strutted the catwalk of British brand Lee Cooper’s fashion show on August 29, at the Marriot Hotel, Resorts World Manila.

Though the actress was one of the most lauded in the show, she admitted in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about her hesitation to go on stage.

“Kinakabahan ako, hindi naman ako model!

“‘Tsaka I’m half the size of everyone in there,” quipped the 24-year-old star.

“Pinanindigan ko na lang ang pagiging [model].

"Pero, I’m so comfortable in the clothes that it’s making me feel beautiful and sexy, so… Rampage!” she said with a smile.

HOT YOUNG MOM. In spite of seeing herself unworthy of the tag "sexy mom," Denise—very obviously—is one.

After giving birth in 2011, the actress has managed to regain her pre-pregnancy figure, as well as her position being Precious Hearts Romances Presents's favorite lead actress.

She stars in her fifth PHR series, Pintada, which is currently doing well in the ratings game.

Her role as a high school teacher who falls in love with one of her students certainly was a dead giveaway for male fans to brand her as a M.I.L.F.—short for "Moms I Like to F**k."

So how does Denise react to her new title? Is she even aware of the term M.I.L.F. and its connotation?

“Oh my gosh! Now I am familiar of that term,” she exclaimed, laughingly.

“I don’t know about the F part of the M.I.L.F., but in a way it really does… That’s what I wanted naman talaga.

“I want all moms out there to feel beautiful and feel sexy, because having a child is beautiful and it makes you beautiful.

“You fulfilled your purpose as a woman [by becoming a mother].

“And at the same time, you are given this gift of pure love that you can, you know, take with you wherever you go, and love back as much as you want.
