Here, we reminisce the first birthday celebration of Jose Gabriel “Gab” Bautista, son of Jolo and Grace. He is one lucky kid, so well-loved that people have been fighting over him.

Gab was the focus of a heated family feud two years ago. It had only cooled down after a DNA test proved that he is indeed the son of Jolo Revilla and Grace Adriano.

On his father’s side, Gab’s grandparents are Senator Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado. And on his mother’s side, his lola is Rosanna “Osang” Roces, whose pet name for Gab is Budoy.

Although Gab lives with his mother Grace and his Lola Osang, it was the Revillas who prepared the kiddie and for-family-members-only birthday treat for him at the Gymboree Learning Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It was his party for his first birthday!

Lola Osang attended the party, along with her Nanay Norma Adriano. “Bagong gupit si Budoy noong birthday niya,” Osang recalls. “Kasi kulot-kulot ’yan, e. Mana sa akin ang buhok.”
