While promoting his upcoming movie Love Me Again (Land Down Under), Piolo Pascual was able to visit his son Iñigo in the United States last December. The world premiere of his movie with Angel Locsin took place in Los Angeles last December 6 and another screening took place at San Francisco last December 7.

During the January 9 press conference of this Star Cinema movie, Piolo recalled the good times he shared with his son during the Christmas break.

"Two weeks ako dun [U.S.]. I got to watch films such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, YES Man and Bedtime Stories. And I got to spend time with my family."

"Nandun rin yung anak ko sa Los Angeles and hanggang tenga ko na ang height niya. Nag-theme park kami sa Magic Mountain at nakanood ng sine. Nakapag-snowboarding din kami. It was his first time to go snowboarding and I'm happy that I was able to teach him how. Binigyan ko siya ng camera at mahilig siyang mag-take ng photos."

Is his 11-year-old son beginning to show interest in girls?

"Sana hindi muna," says Piolo with a boyish grin.

Is he being strict with his son regarding the opposite sex? "Sinasabihan ko lang na, ‘Easy lang.'"

Was his son able to watch Love Me Again (Land Down Under)?

"Yes, they were there during the premiere. Happy naman siya."

LOVE SCENE WITH ANGEL. PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Piolo how he made Angel comfortable while they were shooting their love scene, which was set in a stable.

"I'd always cover her with her robe before and after a scene. We would tell the guys to get out of the place, sinasabi namin na babae lang ang puwede sa loob and made her feel comfortable by saying, ‘Hey, you're safe with me and hindi kita ite-take advantage.' She felt that naman. Pareho naman kaming ninerbiyos, hindi lang naman siya."

With regards to their edited love scene, did Piolo regret the fact that Star Cinema deleted two scenes for being "too acrobatic"?

"Hindi ako nanghinayang, mahiyain ako, e," Piolo said.

What would he consider an unforgettable moment while shooting the movie?

"Yung sa Australia, natakot kami while we were shooting in the northern territory because, most of the time, wala kaming kasama. It was so hot. One thing I realized in Bukidnon is that you can enjoy the simple things in life with the simple things that you have. Puwedeng nature lang, puwedeng ikaw lang and the people around you. Mas na-aappreciate mo yung bundok, mas na-aappreciate mo yung creations ni God."

BIRTHDAY BOY. Right after the press conference, management brought in a cake for Piolo who will turn 31 years old on January 12. But before he blew out the candles of his cake, the matinee idol quipped, "'Wag kayong malilito, 22 candles lang po ito!"

When asked to give his birthday wish, Piolo says: "My birthday wish is for the film to be a success. Sana matalo niya ang Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat!
