After Eula Valdes first posed for FHM in 2006, she promised to do it again when she turns 45.

This July, she makes good on that promise two years ahead of schedule. "Hindi porke't you're turning 43 hindi mo na gagawin yung mga bagay na you used to do before," she says, "[Age] is just a state of mind, [and] nag-stop ako roon sa age na 21."

But before saying yes to FHM, Eula sought approval from her 16-year-old son about posing on the cover again. "Tinanong ko siya kung okay lang kasi baka nahihiya siya," she tells FHM, "Ang sabi niya sa akin, 'Bakit, hindi naman lahat ng nanay ng kaklase ko kaya 'yan, a.' Masaya rin ako kasi mukhang proud naman siya."

She may be in her 40s, but Eula continues to exude an air of confidence that captivates people—young and old. It is an age where woman are said to be at their sexual peak, and Eula affirms this by saying, "Pag mas confident ka sa sarili mo, mas maganda yung aura mo. Mas positive, so siguro mas nagugustuhan din ng lalaki yun."

Eula returns to the small screen as a contravida in the remake of Mula sa Puso, where she will play a role that many think come naturally to her.

But Eula points out, "This is just the third time I'm playing contravida... Yung tingin ng mga tao, laging ganun yung role ko [pero] hindi naman, e."

Despite this, Eula enjoys playing kontrabida. "Mas madaling mang-api," she laughs, "Pero come to think of it, mahirap ding magpigil. At nakakapagod din palang magalit."
