Kasalukuyang ine-enjoy ni Iza Calzado ang kawalan niya ng soap opera at movie projects sa ngayon.

"My last was I Heart You, Pare, technically. So, okay lang kasi I'm really enjoying this time," saad ng mahusay na aktres nang makausap siya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa press conference ng Showbiz Exclusives noong October 19 sa GMA compound.

"Although, siyempre, the bank account says, 'Hey, do a soap,' but it's refreshing to have consistently good hours of sleep, to have a routine."

Inilarawan ni Iza sa PEP ang kanyang pang-araw-araw na schedule:

"I get up around 6:30 or maybe 7, 8 in the morning. And then, I do my workouts, then I'll do Bulaga, then I'll do everything else I need to do.

"Sometimes, I take voice lessons, sometimes I take dance lessons.

"Parang lahat ng gusto kong gawin nung dati—Encantadia, Atlantika days—I'm doing them now.

"And I feel very good about it, and it's enriching."

ACTING WORKSHOP. Maliban sa pagwo-workout at ilang classes, sasabak din si Iza sa Stella Adler Workshop ngayong Nobyembre.

Ang Stella Adler Workshop ay isang acting workshop na pangungunahan ng dalawang sikat na international acting directors na sina Don Williams at Andrew Wade.

Tinanong si Iza ng press kung bakit magwo-workshop pa siya gayong napakahusay na niyang umarte.

"Is that the way to go about it?" balik-tanong ni Iza.

"Of course not. You always have to keep learning.

"At saka, these [directors] are theater people. One of them is from the Royal Shakespeare Academy, so [mahusay talaga]."

Balak din bang pasukin ni Iza ang teatro kaya siya magwo-workshop?
