Aljur shares his health and fitness regimen that makes him the perfect symbol of what it takes to have a healthy mind and healthy body: "Iyong regimen ko is nagwo-workout ako regularly. Kasi ako, sanay kasi ako sa pagod e, sanay akong mag-workout. Siguro kahit everyday kung may schedule and wala akong reason para hindi mag-gym or do any physical activity, kasi kahit sa bahay puwedeng mag-push ups, mag sit-ups, gano'n ako. Sa pagkain naman, iyong machete diet, healthy diet—CENTURY TUNA and Century Tuna Healthylicious Hotdog for protein, kamote diet, and lots of fruits and vegetables."

Summertime is also known as the "hot" season; and no, we don't mean to talk about the weather.

This warm and sunny time of year is all about the hunks in trunks and babes in bikinis joining the annual Century Tuna Superbods: Salute To Sexy Search.

Last Monday, March 5, 43 hopefuls decked out at the Seventh High bar and lounge in The Fort for the elimination round.

A panel interview was conducted to find out who among the contestants—most of them models, athletes, and plain health buffs—had the best personality to match their enviable physique.

Aside from showing off their picture-perfect figures, the contestants were also asked to tell something about themselves, the things in life that they're passionate about, and to describe their daily health and fitness routines as well.

Many of the guys revealed they're addiction to sports, such as football and basketball. The ladies, on the other hand, enjoy working out at the gym, as well as doing yoga and running.

They also revealed their diet tricks, which consists mostly of nutritious elements like fruits, vegetables, good carbohydrates, and lots of protein that they mainly get from tuna meat.

Kapuso celebrity Aljur Abrenica, an endorser of the brand and also serves as one of the competition judges, said that what they're looking for is someone who embodies the true meaning of being sexy.

"When I say sexy, [hindi lang] pagandahan ng katawan, dapat healthy mind and healthy body din."

Twenty top candidates will be chosen to compete in the final round of the competition, which will be held on April 14 in Boracay Island, Aklan.

There, the finalists will be given the chance to show just how fit and healthy they are by racing through five larger-than-life obstacle courses filled with puzzles and challenges.

A pageant will also be held for the final judging, which will determine who among the finalists, one male and one female, will bring home the cash prize of Php 500,000 and one-year supply of Century Tuna products.

Other endorsers, Derek Ramsay and Anne Curtis, are also expected to make an appearance during the contest's final leg.
