Moving on is much easier for Ara Mina now that she’s a Christian.
Unlike her previous breakups, she has learned to take things in stride this time.
She says about her recent heartbreak: “But normal lang naman, e… Normal lang na nangyayari yun, pero it’s not the end of the world…
“Hindi naman… parang yung the usual na hindi ulit nag-work out. But it’s not my fault, ‘yon, di ba.”
If there’s one lesson she learned: “Kahit anong sama ng loob mo... Kahit dina-down ka ng tao, kahit may masamang sinasabi sa iyo, o kahit hindi ka gusto ng tao, I learned na, smile lang lagi because I know myself and si God nandiyan lang, di ba?”
The actress adds, “Nagma-mature ka…Di ba, pag nagbi-break ako [dati], nasa diyaryo na iyan?
“[But], especially na hindi siya showbiz, respeto na lang dun sa family niya.”
She only revealed the end of her two-year relationship with businessman Raymond Ilusorio Yap recently (CLICK HERE to read story), and it was her personal decision to deal with it alone.
At the Eastwood Citywalk 2 branch opening of Goodah, she tells the press, “Siyempre, six months o seven months ko tinago na wala na kami.
“Kasi, siyempre, every time na nakikita n'yo ako, ‘Kelan ang kasal?’
“So, walang wedding na mangyayari coz we’re not together anymore.
“He has his own life. I have my own life na. And, naghiwalay naman kami nang maayos.”
Did they ever talk about getting married?
“No, not at all,” she retorts.
