Sam Pinto has repeatedly denied the blind item hinting she was the girl that caused the breakup of Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban.

Once again, at the "Are You Game?" event of Women’s Health Philippines held May 19, the young actress stressed, “Me and Derek—it’s super not true.”

Sam gave an exclusive interview to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) just before the event. She was always smiling, and very accommodating, but her tone did not hide her annoyance.

“Wait, can I clear out this whole Derek thing? It’s getting so annoying na…” she said before retelling her story.

“It wasn’t me pero may blind item na lumabas. And then people are [saying] parang may hook-up daw na nangyari sa Australia.

“And they were thinking it was me.

“I didn’t go to Australia. I was here in the Philippines. I can show you my passport…

“And then ‘yon, people started teasing me, ‘Uy, ikaw pala yung girl na nag-cause ng nag-break…’

"Oh my God, hindi nga kami nag-uusap ni Derek.”

The 23-year-old actress said she worked with Derek on a commercial for a liquor brand, but that was it.

“I haven’t talked to him. I haven’t called him. I don’t know his number. He doesn’t know my number," she stressed.

And since the blind item all but identified her, Sam stressed, “Hindi ko alam saan galing ‘yon.”

Is she dating surfer guy Luke Landrigan?

“No, we’re not dating,” answered the Kapuso star.

Is there someone special?

Sam stated, “I’m very single.”
