Her screen partner Elmo Magalona is already taken, but Julia Anne San Jose says “why not?" when asked about the possibility of turning their reel love into real.

At the launch of her collaboration with Team Manila, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I’m not shutting my doors.

“Siyempre, darating naman talaga sa time na… like yung i-admire mo siya…”

What she likes most about the son of Francis Magalona: “He’s composed.”

Smiling, she also described her leading man in Just One Summer as “talented like his father.”

The young singer-actress added, “Idol ko talaga si Francis M, so parang nakita ko si Francis kay Elmo.

“Ayun, parang na-a-amaze lang ako.”

For now, she wants to focus on making the JuliElmo, the love team’s supporters, happy.

Julie Anne continued, “Kasi si Elmo is really a good friend of mine.

“As a love team, we’re really doing our best to entertain people, para pakiligin din sila.”

SINGING + ACTING. Singing was the launch pad of her career.

In 2005, she joined the Popstar Kids, where she emerged as one of the finalists.

“Ang passion ko kasi talaga is singing,” she affirmed.

And at the young age of 11, she was already aware of the fact that “obstacles” would be coming her way.

“Nung nagsimula ako sa Popstar Kids, maraming mga… like discrimination.
