Sa pamamagitan ni Angel Javier, ang assistant vice president for corporate communications ng channel 7, nakakuha ng reaksiyon ang PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) mula mismo sa chairman and CEO ng network na si Atty Felipe Gozon, kanina, Marso 2.

Ang nakasaad dito, "We are flattered by the expression of continued interest on the part of MVP. However, there has been no price offered that could form the basis of discussion between the parties."

Sa ginanap na stockholders's meeting ng isa sa mga kumpanya kung saan chairman din si MVP, ang Metro Pacific Investment Corporation, sinabi niya na, "We've talked to them, you know, since 2002, and then maybe five years ago."
