In a party, it's always easy to spot Tessa Prieto-Valdez.

Some people may find her outfits a bit too much, but her fashion sense, she says, is just her way of "expressing myself!"

On her wedding day 16 years ago, she was clad a black medieval-inspired gown. In one of the marathon events she joined, the social butterfly ran with a head dress and colorful eyelashes.

Recently, she was seen wearing a fashionable hat "from Cebu" and a shrug "which I got from my mom's closet." Her shimmering layered dress was from Olivier Tolentino, whose creations were recently worn by Grammy nominee Kelly Price for the 2011 Grammy awards and Glee Star Amber Riley for the Golden Globe Awards.

Her outfits are just like her personality—vibrant!

"That's because fashion is supposed to be fun. It's more than just a daily need, it's actually a chore," she exclaims with a laugh. "But I love visualizing what to wear, the mix and match the colors and pieces..."

On top of her fashion tips, "Just be yourself. If you want to be glittery, be as glittery as you can!"

Next, she encourages putting some adventure when choosing clothes. "Wear whatever you want to wear."

And lastly, it is important that you are comfortable with who you are, and you are...happy. "Whatever you're wearing, the good in you will show. Sexiness is from the inside!"
