For the very first time, magkakasama sa isang morning talk show bilang hosts ang celebrity couple na sina Carmina Villarroel at Zoren Legaspi, ang Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis. Magsisimula itong mapanood sa August 9, Lunes, mula 9:30 a.m. hanggang 10:15 a.m. sa GMA-7.
Sa press conference ng kanilang programa kahapon, July 27, sa Studio 5 ng GMA Network Center, nakitaan na ng enjoyment ang dalawa sa kanilang paghu-host together. Nasasakyan at nasusundan ni Zoren ang kakikayan ni Carmina. Nakikita rin ang contrasting personalities nila and at the same time, nagra-radiate din ang love na meron sila sa isa't isa.
MORNING SHOW. Masaya at excited si Carmina na finally ay nagkaroon sila ng opportunity ni Zoren na magkasama sa isang show.
"Very excited!" bulalas niya. "Mixed emotions, e. But more on really excited and thankful. Kasi nga, parang hindi na ako manganganay kung sino ang kasama ko, ganoon din siya. Kasi nga, I'm very comfortable with him.
"Like, sinabi ni Zoren na we will really try our best to have a fun show. Pero wala na kaming pretentions. Kumbaga, kung ano ang makikita n'yo rito sa Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis, ganoon talaga kami sa isa't isa. Ganoon kami kung paano namin tratuhin ang isa't isa. Para kaming magkabarkada."
Ten years nang nagsasama sina Carmina at Zoren at nabiyayaan na sila ng kambal na anak, sina Mavy at Cassy. Pero hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ng karamihan na hindi pa sila kasal.
May nagtanong kung bakit Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis ang title ng kanilang show. Baka raw kasi pagsimulan ito ng isyu dahil technically, hindi pa sila puwedeng tawaging "Mister" at "Misis" dahil hindi pa naman sila kasal.
Pero ayon kay Carmina, "Kaya po hindi naman namin sinabi na 'Love ko si Mister or Love ko si Misis.' So, hindi po nagpe-pertain sa amin. Kumbaga, kahit sinong Mister ang love ni Misis. At ang show po na ito, hindi lang po siya nagko-concentrate sa mga mag-asawa. Hindi po. Kundi pang lalake, pang-babae, kay lolo, kay kuya, kay ate, sa mga kapitbahay, sa lahat po. Anything under the sun."
IDEA FOR PILOT EPISODE. Dito nga pumasok ang revelation ni Zoren na ang idea niya sana para sa pilot episode nila ay yung actual wedding day nila. Pero ayaw raw ni Carmina ng idea na 'yon.
Katuwiran ni Mina sa bagay na ito, "Siyempre, I want it to be, you know, hindi naman yung nationwide na ganyan."
Hirit ni Zoren, alam daw kasi niyang maraming gustong makakita. Kaya sabi ni Carmina nang natatawa: "Malay n'yo naman, ihabol natin sa birthday ko, bilang August [17] naman ang birthday ko."
Nagbiro pa si Carmina na hindi pa naman daw nagpo-propose sa kanya si Zoren at hindi pa siya sumasagot. Pagkarinig nito, biglang "nag-propose" si Zoren kay Carmina during the press conference. Dahil wala namang dalang singsing, ibinigay ni Carmina ang suot niyang diamond ring at saka siya tinanong ni Zoren ng: "Will you marry me?"
"Hay naku, papetek-petek ka! Ang tagal!" ang natatawa namang sagot ng 34-year-old actress-TV host.
THE WEDDING. Aminado si Zoren na yung "proposal" niya during the presscon ang una niyang pagpu-propose kay Carmina. Katwiran niya, given naman na raw yun na kapag nag-propose siya ay siguradong "yes" ang isasagot ng kanyang longtime partner.
Pero if ever daw, sa isang "very romantic dinner" magaganap ang kanyang proposal lay Carmina.
Nang magsalita ang SVP for Entertainment ng GMA-7 na si Ms. Wilma Galvante, nag-promise ito na "ipapakasal" nila ang dalawa sa first anniversary ng kanilang show. Pero kumontra si Carmina na hindi raw maganda sa feng shui ang 2011 para magpakasal. Pero ayon naman kay Ms. Wilma, may mga pangontra naman do'n.
Tinanong namin ulit si Carmina tungkol dito after the question-and-answer portion.
"Parang ang tagal pa, 'no? Dapat 2010 nga!" natatawa niyang sabi. Kaya hirit ni Zoren, bago raw matapos ang 2010 ay ikakasal na sila.
