Ethel Booba is now quite sure about who was really inside her heart as she answers all questions about her past relationships with aspiring actor-model Janvier Daily and former Ginebra player Alex Crisano. In an interview with The Buzz yesterday, December 16, she related how Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition affected her decisions—including going back inside Bahay ni Kuya.
After Janvier came out in public armed with revelations concerning Ethel and a disturbing image of him naked, does she still love him for doing those things? It can be recalled that the aspiring actor-model did all of these while Ethel was still inside the PBB house.
"Sa totoo lang, wala na talaga kami," Ethel admitted. "Bago kasi ako pumasok ng bahay,e, sobrang kawindang-windang na ang buhay ko. Naalala ko na ako pala ang nakipagbuno. Kaya hindi ko rin siya masisisi na parang ang gulo ng relasyon namin."
How was she now coping with her life? Rumor has it that she and her ex-boyfriend Alex Crisano have made up and are actually going out again.
"Sa totoo lang din," a smiling Ethel said, "nag-date kaming tatlo [she, Alex and his new girlfriend]."
When asked whether this would create trouble, an assuring Ethel replied, "Hindi naman. Kami ni Alex, magkaibigan. ‘Tapos sabi ko nga na proud ako [for them] at umiyak ako sa harap nila."
ALEX PRAISES ETHEL. "No, we did not get back together. ‘Yan ang totoo. Right now, I'm just focused on my career."
Those were the words Alex said in a taped interview after hearing the rumor about him and Ethel getting back together. The ex-PBA player explained that the date was all about them reminiscing the three years that they had together as a couple.
"It's true that we still see each other. Siyempre, you know, di ba, three years is not a joke? It was nice to talk to her and she told me everything. Like, I know that she's been talking about me in PBB. She's a big part of my life and I really love the girl and she really loves me. We were laughing, reminiscing over the great times. I think she's grown up a little bit," Alex said.
His message to Ethel?
"Ethel, I wanna say, first of all, Merry Christmas and I wanna say happy birthday since your birthday is coming up [today, December 17]. I'm here for you, and always will be—like you were there for me when I was down and hurt. I don't want to be emotional but I wanna say that you have been a very big part of my life and I learned from you too. You've been an inspiration to my life. Hopefully, we can be good friends like before."
Upon hearing Alex's message to her, Ethel jokingly said that what she only wanted was for Alex to pay his debts to her.
THE NEW GUY. Now that everything seems to be in order for Ethel, it is now time for the comedienne to face a new life and a new love. Who's the lucky guy? Ethel revealed that it's Will Devaghn, the hunky model and her PBB co-housemate.
"Sa totoo lang," Ethel again began with the same sentence opener, "kaya talaga ako papasok ulit sa Bahay ni Kuya, e, dahil kay Will—and I'm proud of that. Ganoon talaga dahil alam n'yo naman na doon lang ako happy!"
Then with her trademark laugh, she kidded, "At ipaglalaban ko ito. Humanda ka sa akin Rizza [Santos]!"
Her message to Will?
"This is it. Aalukin ko talaga siya: ‘Can you be my boyfriend?' Sa Christmas, gusto ko kami lang dalawa sa Secret Room. Walang camera!" Ethel said in closing.
