John Prats was surprised upon reading in PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that Shaina would choose love over power when asked about it during the press conference of her newest show Komiks Presents: Mars Ravelo's Dragonna.

As Dragonna, she will lose her power when she starts to falls in love with someone. In real life, Shaina chooses love because, "Mas powerful naman ang love."

John, who played the komiks character named Tiny Tony, commented, "Sweet naman no'n.  Na-flatter naman ako doon, hindi ako ready doon. Love over power, masaya, magandang comment 'yon, a. Pero siguro ako rin."

The young actor, whose feelings towards his co-dancer started when their dance group called Ultimate Dance 4 was formed, also agreed that Shaina is a passionate lady, particularly when she's working. 

He described, "Sobrang [passionate], 'yong Lobo pa lang na ginawa niya. Ako kasi nasaksihan ko 'yon na grabe ang preparation niya, lahat ginagawa niya—nagyo-yoga pa 'yon bago mag-start ang Dragonna. Kasi daw para maganda ang costume sa kanya.  Ganun siya sa lahat ng ginagawa niya, very passionate."

As a person, John described Shaina as someone who is: "Very thoughtful siya, e. Lagi niyang tinatanong kung ano'ng gusto ko kapag nasa ASAP kami.  Very passionate siya sa lahat ng bagay."

John was glad that Shaina has started to express her feelings more openly.   "Well, nakaka-flatter," he said.  "Ako naman, siyempre, kung kelan ready 'yong babae, doon lang ako sumusuporta. I don't wanna force her na gawin ang isang bagay."

The Parekoy actor continued, "Now that she's really comfortable with it, well, masaya. Masaya...well, siguro dahil na rin I'm open with the family na rin and okey naman at saka wala naman silang nakikitang negative na nangyayari or masama akong ginagawa. As long as gano'n, mas masaya, di ba? Mas happy!"

Although both said they are not yet into a relationship, John admitted that he enjoys Shaina's company. 

"Hindi naman namin napag-uusapan, e.  Siguro alam lang namin na may mutual understanding, na there's something talaga. Gano'n lang pero wala kaming napag-uusapan. Kasi mas less pressure at saka mas nag-e-enjoy talaga kami."

In her past interview with PEP, Shaina said that she still needs more time to know more about John before she enters a romatic relationship with him. Is John willing to wait?

John replied, "Actually, wala na ako sa point na naghihintay ako, e. I'm really enjoying it now and wala akong pressure, hindi ko siya pine-pressure, enjoy na enjoy lang kami."

Aside from his newest TV show Parekoy, which will premiere on Monday afternoon, John will also be able to work with Shaina in Komiks Presents: Sanglakas.  The show is the pinoy version of Justice League that features Mars Ravelo's komiks creations.
