Compared sa ibang clothing lines na maraming celebrity endorsers, tanging si Jericho Rosales at Cristine Reyes ang artistang nagpa-plug ng Mint clothing, bagay na nagugustuhan ni Echo.
"Mas masaya, mas focused ang identity, style, mas madali kaming mag-collaborate. Whereas with Bench, marami sila. Although, okey rin naman yung ano nila. Pero gusto ko rin kasi na focus sa 'yo yung sponsor.
"Like now, they asked me if I want to have my own collection. So ako, okey, game, dream come true para sa akin 'yan. So there was just no reason to say no to it. Unang-una, I like Mint dahil medyo nagko-compliment yung style namin."
Meron na ngang Jericho Rosales collection na siya raw mismo ang nag-aaprub ng designs.
"I approve design and, eventually, kapag medyo hindi na ako masyadong busy, may mga designs din akong isa-submit. There are some designs that are waiting."
DATING CRISTINE? Natatawang kinumpirma ni Jericho na nali-link sila ni Cristine.
"Actually, lumalabas kami noong nakaraan, with friends. Magkakilala naman kami, di ba? Magkasama kami sa show dati. Actually, even before the typhoon, kami ang magkasama ng gabing yun."
On a date?
"Hindi mo naman matatawag na date yun... Nagkayayaan lang. It's a big group," paliwanag niya.
"Marami kasi akong kaibigang babae. So, kung sinuman ang kasama kong lumabas, nali-link ako sa kanila, di ba?"
Hindi daw dapat magtaka kung pag-isipang may gusto siya kay Cristine. "Medyo click naman talaga kami. She's beautiful naman. Madali namang ma-attract sa kanya. Pero, pagdating sa relationship, hindi... we're good friends.
"At least for me, I'm trying to know the people I'm with. I go out with [them] at yun lang ang paraan para makilala ko ang isang tao." At the same time, "I'm not closing my doors naman to everyone, with Cristine..."
FRIENDS AT HEART. Ayon kay Jericho ay naka-move on na talaga siya sa breakup nila ni Heart Evangelista. Dahil ba sa nag-uusap na silang muli?
"Moving on in many ways. Naka-move on ako ro'n sa pain, sa loneliness and sadness, but now I can live alone, so, I guess, yeah... yeah..."
Iyong una nilang pag-uusap ni Heart, "closure" ba 'yon or new beginning?
"At least, it's a beginning of friendship. I'm sure one day, magiging magkaibigan din kami. Sabi nga nila kapag ex-ex daw, hindi raw puwede, di ba? For me, sino pa ba ang taong nakakakilala sa 'yo kundi yung naging ex mo, di ba?
"So for me, if there's forgiveness and there's acceptance, then meaning, you can be good friends."
HEART AUCTIONS RING. Sa tingin ni Echo ay hindi naman siguro yung Tiffany ring na galing sa kanya ang pina-auction ni Heart sa Shop and Share. "Well, I never saw the ring," aniya.
Kung yun nga ang pina-auction ni Heart?
"If it's for a good cause, then, go," sabi niya, pero halatang napaisip.
