Dingdong says if he's offered a government post, he won't turn it down, but he adds: "Ang isang bagay na hindi naiintindihan ng lahat, e, when you say public service, it is not a career. Every one should practice public service just like their second job. That's why I admire people who let go of their real profession and even sometimes neglect their families just to serve in public because this is a very taxing and important duty na hindi lang sa grupo ng isang tao kung hindi sa buong bansa."

"I don't see any peak, I don't see any end to it. Basta siguro what is constant is a very good slope."

Naniniwala ba siya na may endless love?

"Oo... meron yun, meron. It's endless because it transfers to other people."

Kasama si Dingdong sa "A List" ng YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars kunsaan si Kim Chiu ang naging cover. How does he feel about it?

"Very thankful sa YES! for the trust. I'm sure they categorized it very well. Pinag-isipan and you know, siguro yung level of trust nila sa amin, e gano'n. Salamat din dahil kami naman, hindi naman din kami nagkukulang sa pagbibigay sa kanila ng information about how we are as celebrities and individuals in our own private lives. So, open din kami diyan, so, maganda rin ang tandem."

Aside from that, he and Marian were also awarded the Most Popular Loveteam of Philippine Movies ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarships Foundation.

"Masaya siyempre. Galing pa nga kami sa kanya-kanyang taping, pero sinadya namin. Natutuwa kami sa recognition at siyempre, hindi naman natin alam kung hanggang kailan yung ganoong samahan. Hangga't merong nakaka-appreciate, ibinabalik lang din namin sa kanila."

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT. Nilinaw ni Dingdong ang tungkol sa pinag-uusapang offer raw sa kanya na government position ni President Noynoy Aquino. As we all know, isa si Dingdong sa pinakamasugid na nangampanya para kay President-elect Aquino.

Pero ayon kay Dong, "No, there's no offer. Until now, wala namang concrete offer."

If ever may ialok nga, tatanggapin ba niya ito?

"Siyempre, ayoko siyang i-turn down, but one thing is for sure, I will be behind his administration to help him 100 percent. But it doesn't have to be in a government position. Kumbaga, lahat naman tayo, we have to do our own duties, e, may posisyon man or wala. At ako, sa ngayon, ang dami ko pang gagawin as an actor."

Kinumpirma niya ang pagdalo niya sa presidential inauguration sa Wednesday, June 30.

"Yes, I will be there sa Quirino [Stadium], for sure I will be there. I'll just be there to witness, to clap, and be part of this historical ceremony."

Sinasabing 8,000 lang daw na tao ang allowed to be there. So, will he be there with Marian on this historical event?

"Yes, I will be with Marian and I will also be with the group who helped me sa campaign, yung Ayos NA."

Dingdong is absolutely right when questions on marriage to Marian is brought up. It is better to be discreet and not count the chickens before they hatch!

I am sure both are serious in their relationship and we can only hope they end up with each other at the altar!
