Ayun sa mga bituin/from ellentorsedill as

As always, “The Professional Heckler” is hilarious. Angry

I consider this young guy the genius wit of this generation.

This horoscope for presidentiable s has been going around the world through internet. In the passing frenzy, the author’s by line got deleted. He related that a relative sent this to him with a note, “Basahin mo ‘to ‘insan, nakakatawa!”

He replied, “’Insan, are u insane? Mas patawa ka! Sa aking blog nanggaling ‘yan! damn!”

Anyway, rather than be angered and frustrated by the lies and propaganda being spread around by candidates, enjoy with “The Professional Heckler” what he saw in the stars for the presidential candidates.

Noynoy Aquino (February 8, 1960-Aquarius):

Mukha kang damn!

Sanga pala, may nag-text.

“Patahimikin mo na kami. Huwag mo na kaming isali d’yan. Matanda ka na. Alam mo na ang dapat mong gawin. Good luck.” All the best, Daddy Ninoy & Mommy Cory.

JC De Los Reyes (February 14, 1970-Aquarius):

Joseph Estrada (April 19, 1937-Aries):

Richard Gordon (August 5, 1945-Leo):

Given na ‘yon.

Nicanor Perlas (January 10, 1950-Capricorn):

Ang ‘not so good news’ – ng pamilya ni Joey Ayala: karaniwang tao.

Gilbert Teodoro (June 14, 1964-Gemini):

May dalang kamalasan ‘yan.

Remedyuhan habang maaga.

Manny Villar (December 13, 1949-Sagittarius):

Consistent kang tao. May isang salita. Hindi ka sisipot sa pagdinig ng plenaryo. Kaya’t patuloy na magtatanong ang taong-bayan: guilty or not guilty?

Jamby Madrigal (April 26, 1958-Taurus):

Isa kang ‘bully’ sa iyong past life.

Wala kang horoscope!

Even win won't propel Mayweather's status Angry

12:53 PM ET 03.09 | Floyd Mayweather's fight with Shane Mosley is a literal no-win for him. Mayweather beating Mosley can't be what propels him to being thought of as the most complete fighter of his era, although a stoppage victory would elevate Floyd's resume in a big way. It's preposterous to think of Mayweather as this generation's Sugar Ray Leonard because he defeated Mosley as a welterweight eight years after Vernon Forrest did it twice, and Miguel Cotto officially did it two and a half years ago.

Barnes Fires Back at Kobe, Odom Roll Eyes

"If (Bryant's) going to throw elbows, I'm not just going to let him do it.''

"I have no problem playing physical, but throughout the game, he (Bryant) elbowed me three times. If I did that, I would have been kicked out,'' Barnes said. "(Pau) Gasol takes a swing at Dwight (Howard). If we do that kind of stuff, we get kicked out, suspended. He (Bryant) is the best player. He gets to do whatever he wants. It is what it is.''

Barnes made it clear Monday that he considers Bryant the "best player in the world.'' Yet he also said he never would concede anything to him on the court.

Iverson says he's going through 'tough times'

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Exiled Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson says he's experiencing "tough times" a week after it was decided he would not return to the team and his wife filed for divorce.

Iverson posted four messages Monday night on his Twitter account telling fans he expected to overcome the most recent obstacles in his life.

"To my fans: You all know that my life isn't perfect. I am going through some very tough times right now, like I am sure that we all do from time to time," Iverson wrote. "However, I will stand tall like always with 'rhino' thick skin."

Iverson had been mostly absent from the 76ers for a month, returning to Atlanta to be with his family as they deal with an undisclosed illness of his 4-year-old daughter, Messiah. Iverson and the Sixers decided last Tuesday he would not return for the rest of the season.

The former NBA MVP and four-time scoring champion averaged 13.8 points in 28 games this season. He started the season with Memphis but only played three games before he announced a short-lived retirement.

Tawanna Iverson filed for divorce the same day. She said their 8 1/2-year marriage is "irretrievably broken," in papers filed in Fulton County Superior Court. She asked for full custody of the couple's five children, child support and alimony.

The youngest child is 17 months old and the oldest is 15.

Allen Iverson said on Twitter it hurt to hear stories about his personal life that aren't true.

"Even though I have become used to hearing people say things about me that aren't true, it still hurts," Iverson wrote. "I encourage you to continue your ongoing support and I want you to trust that this is another obstacle in my life that, with God's help I will overcome."

Filipino ring superstar now a ‘Boston Celtic’ Grin
By Roy Luarca
Philippine Daily Inquirer

HOLLYWOOD—Manny Pacquiao has achieved what no other Filipino basketball player has done.

The Filipino ring icon is now an honorary member of the 2008 NBA champion Boston Celtics.

The honorary membership was bestowed on Pacquiao, who was presented a replica of a green-and-white Celtics jersey bearing his name and number 1, in a brief ceremony before his entourage boarded a chartered jet to Texas, on Tuesday.

Known for his passion for basketball, Pacquiao became one of the very few sportsmen to be honored by the Celtics, NBA’s winningest franchise with 17 titles, including 11 between 1957 and 1969.

One of those bestowed the same honor was Landon Turner, who led Indiana to the US NCAA championship in 1981.

Turner, however, was unable to pursue an NBA career after an automobile accident left him paralyzed in 1982.

The lasting recognition given by the Celtics is expected to inspire Pacquiao, who once owned a semi-professional team (MP GenSan Warriors) back home.

Pacquiao is also an ardent Celtics fan. He was deeply touched and honored when Celtics superstars Kevin Garnett, Rey Allen, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo watched him wrest the World Boxing Council light-weight title from David Diaz and then congratulated him in the dugout in 2008.

Slurp on this: The "7-Elections!" Sad
By: DJ Mojo Jojo/donyavictorina

ELECTION FEVER IS IN FULL SWING with only 60 days left before 5-10-10... and interestingly enough, convenience store giant 7-Eleven has come up with a "cool and refreshing" (pun intended) idea which they say will highlight the Filipinos' presidential options.

7-Eleven is allowing customers to vote through their soft drink cups in what they call the "7-Elections." They dropped by Magic 89.9 this morning and presented us their novel marketing initiative!

Starting this week, customers who purchase soft drinks and slurpee’s at participating 7-Elevens can pour their drinks into specially designed cups which bear the names and faces of this year's presidential candidates.

The five top-seated presidential candidates - Manny Villar, Joseph Estrada, Richard Grodon, Noynoy Aquino and Gilbert Teodoro - each have their own 7-Election cups.

The likenesses of the remaining 2010 hopefuls, namely Brother Eddie Villanueva, JC de Los Reyes, Nicanor Perlas and Jamby Madrigal, are clumped together and share a cup which also has a panel which represents the voters' right to abstain or remain undecided.

The "presidentiable" cups chosen by customers as they pay for their drinks are then recorded at the cash register giving 7-Eleven a fun and insightful count of who their patrons may want to vote for.

Through this idea, 7-Eleven has found an interesting way to align POLITICAL and ECONOMIC motives; it is a campaign that combines the sometimes conflicting duties of being a good citizen and a good consumer.

“They can vote early, often, late 7-11 hours,” says 7-11’s marketing manager.

This is the third election in which 7-Eleven has run its “7-Election” in The United States and the FIRST in ASIA. And while Ms. Chabris of 7-11 United States “unabashedly” acknowledges the survey is unscientific, she notes that in the previous two “7-Elections,” “our coffee cup poll was within one to two percentage points of the actual voting results.”

The PHILIPPINES is CORRUPT! Angry
(Duh? As if you didn't know)/donyavictorina

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines was rated the fourth most corrupt of 16 major Asia-Pacific investment destinations, according to a business survey released on Monday.

The survey conducted by the Hong Kong-based Political & Economic Risk Consultancy showed the Philippines ranking fourth from the bottom of the 16-nation list with a score of 8.06.

The country, which was ranked Asia's most corrupt country in the 2008 survey, had a rating of 7.0 last year, making it the sixth most corrupt nation last year.

Indonesia scored 9.07 out of 10 as the most corrupt nation in the 2010 survey, up from 7.69 points a year ago.

The PERC survey polled 2,174 middle and senior business executives in Asia, Australia and the United States.

Cambodia was ranked second most corrupt, followed by Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, India, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Macao, Japan, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia and -- rated as the least corrupt in the survey -- Singapore.

The survey looked at how corruption affected different levels of political leadership and the civil service, and how major institutions fared in terms of corruption.

It also examined how corruption is perceived to affect the overall business environment, and how easy or difficult it is for companies to deal with the problem internally and externally when they encounter it.

Below is the corruption scores of 16 Asia-Pacific economies as seen in a survey of 2,174 expatriate business executives by the Political and Economic Risk Consultancy (PERC).

On a scale of zero to 10, zero is the best possible score, indicating the lowest level of corruption among politicians and civil servants.

Henin, Clijsters look to shake things up at Indian Wells Grin

INDIAN WELLS, California (AFP) - Former world number ones Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters of Belgium will provide some early headaches for top seeds at the WTA Indian Wells tournament which begins Wednesday.

The 4.5 million-dollar event, played in conjunction with an ATP event that starts Thursday, also could see a potential third-round rematch of last year's final between defending champion Vera Zvonareva and 24th seed Ana Ivanovic.

With 32 seeds receiving first-round byes, the early star of the show figures to be Henin, the 27-year-old who lost to Serena Williams in the Australian Open final and US Open champion Clijsters at the Brisbane final.

Henin, who won at Indian Wells in 2004, opens against Slovakia?s Magdalena Rybarikova and if she advances will face 31st-seeded Gisela Dulko of Argentina for a possible third-round encounter with fifth seed Agneiszka Radwanska of Poland.

Russian fourth seed Elena Dementieva is also in Henin's quarter of the draw.

Clijsters, a 14th-seeded two-time Indian Wells champion, opens with a second-round tie against Germany's Andrea Petkovic or Czech Barbora Strycova Zahlavova. She could face top seed Svetlana Kuznetsova in the fourth round.

Russian star Kuznetsova's path to a third career Indian Wells final could also see her face Serbian sixth seed Jelena Jankovic or Italy's ninth-seeded Flavia Pennetta in the quarter-finals.

Kuznetsova opens in the second round against either Alize Cornet of France or Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain. Last year, Kuznetsova suffered her earliest loss at Indian Wells when she fell to Poland's Urszula Radwanska in her opener.

Russian 12th seed Zvonareva beat 2008 champion Ivanovic of Serbia to take the 2009 crown and opens her title defense against either a qualifier or Czech Lucie Hradecka. Ivanovic opens with a qualifier or Latvian Anastasija Sevastova.

Zvonareva or Ivanovic could face eighth seed Samantha Stosur of Australia in the fouth round with two-time Indian Wells champion Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia or third seed Victoria Azarenka of Belarus possible quarter-final foes.

Danish second seed Caroline Wozniacki could meet Russian 10th seed and 2006 Indian Wells winner Maria Sharapova in the quarter-finals.

But Sharapova, who won last month at Memphis, could face two Australian Open semi-finalists from China in her path to the last eight - 18th seed Zheng Jie in the third round and seventh seed Li Na in the fourth round.

Floyd Mayweather: Inside the mind of a complete lunatic Cheesy
March 2, 2:54 PMBoxing ExaminerMichae l Marley

He is Mister Clean. He is Mr. All Natural. His body is his temple you must know.

Like a babbling brook, Floyd Mayweather continued his raving like a certified lunatic at Tuesday's kickoff press conference in New York for his May 1 bout against Sugar Shane Mosley.

There was a staged near brawl and one reporter said Mayweather's sidekick, Laughing Lenny Ellerbe, had to take an eight count on the stage in midtown.

“Our noses touch,” Mayweather said of his confrontation with Mosley. “I don't like nothing but the ladies. I don't mind the trash talking but he grabbed my hands. I said, 'Don't put your hands on me.' I pushed him away.”

Mayweather even brought the name of Mosley's ex-wife, Jin, into the conversation.

“Maybe you and Jin should get together,” Mosley said in reference to his the woman who managed him before they got divorced.

Mayweather also continued his slime campaign against Manny Pacquiao.

“I am not chasing Manny Pacquiao, you got to realize this. He turned down $25 million to go make $6 million.

“He didn't want to take a drug test and pick up $25 million. Pacquiao was ordinary until age 25, then he became extraordinary. We all know this is not possible,” Mayweather said.

Floyd and Shane kickoff promotion for their May 1 bout in Las Vegas AP Photo)

Floyd also criticized Mosley for being a vice president of Golden Boy Promotions.

“He fought Oscar twice, now he works for Oscar,” Mayweather said. “But only I make $40 million in 30 minutes. I gave 30 years of my life to my sport, to boxing.”

“All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather. Oscar, Zab Judah and now Mosley..they all get their biggest paydays against Mayweather.”

Mayweather even gave nutrition tips, recommending baked fish and chicken, saying that he is “all natural” and that such a strict diet can extend a person's life for 10 years. I like to keep my body in top shape, in tiptop condition.”

And the ego trip continues...

Ampatuans will miss Pacquiao-Clottey match
Date Published: March 11, 2010
By ELLEN TORDESILLAS

WHEN Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao faces Joshua Clottey of Ghana in the ring on Sunday (Saturday in the U.S.) in Texas to defend his welterweight crown, the Ampatuan clan won’t be in the audience at the  Dallas Cowboys stadium to cheer him like in his past fights.

Twelve prominent members of the powerful family, which counts among Pacquiao’s biggest patrons and fans, and 16 of their relatives have been implicated in the Nov. 23 massacre in Maguindanao and are either detained or at large.

Of the 12, Andal Ampatuan Jr., mayor of Datu Unsay town, is being held at the National Bureau of Investigation in Manila on charges of masterminding the multiple murders. The patriarch, former Maguindanao governor Andal Sr., is confined in a military hospital in Davao City, while his sons Zaldy, Anwar and Sajid,  and brother-in-law Akmad “Tato” Ampatuan Sr. are detained at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in General Santos City on charges of rebellion and multiple murder.

The other six—grandsons Saudi Jr., Bahnarin  and Anwar “Ipi” Ampatuan Jr., Kanor Datumanong Ampatuan , Mama Ampatuan and Norodin Ampatuan—have yet to be arrested.

On Tuesday, an alleged former hitman of the Ampatuans being considered as state witness in the massacre said he twice served as one of the security escorts of the Ampatuans when they went to Las Vegas to watch the fights of Pacquiao.

According to the alleged hitman who goes by the alias “Jesse,” the most recent of these was the Nov. 14 Pacquiao match with Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto, a little over a week before the country’s worst case of pre-election violence took place.  The massacre left 58 civilians, including at least 30 journalists, dead.

Jesse has admitted being among those who were with Andal Jr. that attacked the convoy of the Mangudadatus on Nov. 23. He said Andal Jr. later ordered him to kill the driver who witnessed but did not participate in the killing.  Jesse said he went into hiding upon learning that he, too, was a marked man.

Jesse, who is illiterate, said in an interview in a safehouse in Luzon that he could not recall the name of Pacquiao’s opponent in the other fight he saw.  Neither can he remember the names of the hotels they stayed except that they were “maganda (beautiful).”

On both trips to Las Vegas, Jesse said he and five or six security escorts accompanied the Ampatuan group that included Andal Sr., Andal Jr.and Kanor.

Andal Jr. handpicked Jesse to be Kanor’s close-in bodyguard two years ago after the self-confessed hitman’s record of having never lost in street brawls spread in Maguindanao.

Jesse said he was lucky to have gotten the chance to watch the fight up close because not all the Ampatuan bodyguards were given that privilege. The Ampatuans took care of his passport.

“We carried their bags, including money and cellphones,” he said.

The Ampatuans are reported to bring a lot of cash in their trips to Las Vegas.  Zaldy, governor of the Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao, was held briefly at the Los Angeles airport with his family on April 26 last year while on his way to watch Pacquiao’s fight with Ricky Hatton.

An initial report said his visa was cancelled and that he was questioned for bringing with him $6 million, both of which ARMM Solicitor General Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi later denied. The Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles did not disclose then the reason for the Ampatuans being held up in immigration. The U.S. Embassy at that time also refused to comment on the case “for privacy reasons.”

Andal Sr. did not follow his son to the U.S. to watch the Pacquiao-Hatton bout in May last year because of the skirmishes going on in Maguindanao at that time. He watched the fight on television in Maguindanao with his son Sajid.

Law enforcers monitoring the activities of the Ampatuans said the powerful clan bets big on the Pacquiao fights.  One law enforcer said they have received reports that the family won as much as P750 million in one of the latest fights.

The Ampatuans are known to be close to former Ilocos Sur governor and now Deputy National Security Adviser Luis “Chavit” Singson, another of Pacquiao’s big patrons.  Some members of the clan have been caught on video in Pacquiao’s after-fight interviews, including the Hatton match.

Singson lost in the 2007 senatorial race, but topped the original canvassing in Maguindanao. It was Juan Miguel Zubiri, who is from Bukidnon, who topped the Maguindanao vote in the recanvass.

In May, 10 of the 12 Ampatuans implicated in the massacre are running for office.  Only Andal and Zaldy are not.

Cowboys legend Michael Irvin: 'Manny is only the second person I ever wanted to get autographs from' Angry

DALLAS, TEXAS -- Three-time NFL Super Bowl champion and former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Michael "The Playmaker" Irvin is one of the most revered and beloved sports figures in the city of Dallas and the National Football League as a whole.

The Hall of Famer Irvin was part of the three-headed monster that consisted of Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and himself which was the cream of the crop in the 90's.

Irvin was present at Manny Pacquiao's open workout and indulged members of the media with his candor and eloquence as he himself has become a seasoned sportscaster and analyst appearing in shows like ESPN's NFL Countdown and several others.

Irvin was not shy about his admiration for the Filipino icon Pacquiao and admitted that the Pac Man is only the second person he ever wanted to get autographs from. The first was legendary Mexican fighter Julio Cesar Chavez.

Pacquiao is from Mars, Mayweather is from Venus... and Floyd Sr. is the predator Grin
Filipino Sports Examiner/Dennis "dSource" Guillermo

Manny is like a terminator boxing machine (Art by R. Magallon)

Grin
Predator Sr. (Art by R. Magallon)

They're so different you can say Pacquiao is from Mars, Mayweather is from Venus... like that book by that guy that rationalizes the difference between men and women.

Pacquiao rocks his Nikes to rock and scramble his adversaries, while Mayweather dances on his Reeboks to rock his opponents' psyches- like a lullaby to sleep.

One is a crowd pleaser, the other pleases the connoisseurs- together with those who pretend to be such.

One is reflective and deflects all glory to his country and his faith, while the other battles his demons and wonders further greatness if he was born another race.

Of all the candidates, I think its only GIBO who deserves to be THE PRESIDENT.  But I will not be voting for him because I am very afraid of the GMA factor.

Nope, I don't think that there is an elected government official who will not be corrupted.  Si Gibo pa, who is a Cojuangco, will not be corrupted.  If you are a Cojuangco, its either you corrupt or you get corrupted, either way, corrupt ka pa rin....  How do you think, Hacienda Luisita became so big? It was so big, it was in three provinces - Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and I think Bataan or Pampanga...

Kumbaga, right now, GIBO is the lesser evil of all the candidates. He is a politician, not a saint.  Noynoy will not steal? Hahahahaha.... Villar will not steal? How in the world will he be able to get back the billions he spent for his political advertisements .....

nakakalungkot talaga, na like you, there are many who shared

the same feelings, ano ba talaga ang gma factor na yan na inyong

                     kinatatakutan. ..

ganito na lang, remember last year, arroyo tried to muddle the

constitution but failed considering na majority of the congressmen

are his allies and she is still the one living in malacanan, how much

more if she will just be a mere congresswoman, even if she will

become the speaker, ano scenario, for example lang, tutulungan

mag steal to enrich themselves and to me that matters  most, but if

they will get and be corrupted, they are old enough to know the

                      consequences.. ..
