Sa totoo lang marami sa mga shows ng dalawang channels na ito eh ripped lang from shows abroad. But I must say na magaling ang GMA sa concept.
They don't realize that these actors just cross channels because so many celebs want to be in ABSCBN that the station cannot accomodate them all. Sa mga star search ng ABSCBN kasi sobrang marami talaga ang sumisikat and matagal na kasing established ang Star Magic. So sobrang dami talaga nilang supply. Cheesy

Wala lang konting analysis. Nerd eh. Hehe...

I freaking love you..You definitely got me..it's true..
Abs-Cbn is good with  packaging their shows.. Sa kanila, Quality over Quantity..
First episode pa lang may banat na..You'll get into the story agad..
I guess nakuha na nila ang bagong taste ng mga pinoy. A fast story and realistic story lines.
Hindi lang sila bili ng bili ng Asian Dramas..ina apply na nila yung technique ng other countries sa ating mga dramas which is good. In short, abs-cbn's dramas are improving. I don't know about the other network.

very well said. hehe.
for the execution, one example is Pinoy Big Brother (most especially the current season)
as we can see, nakikipagsabay an talaga yung PBBDU in terms of concepts with its counterparts. yung hindi na lang ata nagagawa ng PBB ay yung almost one year duration ng Big Brother Germany and the village concept.
as for the roosters, maraming magagaling sa ABS at marami kang pagpipilian, hindi stick to one.
example, kung gusto mo ng news report, you can go for Ted Failon and hindi lang yun. may Karen Davila, Korina Sanchez, Julius Babao, Kim Atienza, etc pa.
kung gusto mo ng artistang magaling sa drama, you can go for Judy Ann and that's not all. Nandyan si Ms. Lorna Tolentino, Bea, Kristine, Angel, etc.
Kung gusto mo naman ng comedy, you can go for Ai-Ai, Pokwang, Pooh, Vice, etc.
With this, I realize na walang "all-out" Angel fan, all-out Piolo fan kasi you have a wide variety of choices. konti lang ang lamang ng isa sa pumapangalawa unlike sa kabilang network na kayang mag All-out Marian, etc kasi in terms of popularity, solong solo nila at malayo yung agwat ng pumapangalawa unlike sa Kapamilya Network.
ABS really rocks.

Undeniably, ABS-CBN has found another gold mine in the latest crop of young actors and actresses in its stable.  Tayong Dalawa brings the best in Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca as the trio took their turns to leave well delivered lines on each week night(s).- Ising

Both network are great because they bank on their strengths. The Kapamilya network will do loads of DRAMA shows that their viewers wants while the Kapuso network will do Fantaserye that made them conquer Mega Manila ratings!!!

On news and public affairs program, ABS-CBN will do good news programs as most of the bosses came from the rival network, but GMA7 will do better news programs and will continue to dominate local and international awards because the bosses in GMA-7 are the ex-bosses of now ABS-CBN bosses ( e.g. Luchi Cruz Valdez)

Kapamilya is better with regards to copying foreign plot and incorporating same old brand new Filipino plots while Kapuso is better in buying rights or re-doing and reinventing action fantasy plots!!!

Kapamilya will continue to dominate VISMIN while Kapuso will rule Mega manila!!!

Bottom line test level: If you want drama with new foreign concepts that blends with same old Filipino concepts (siblings rivalry, miracle, etc.) then your choice is ABS-CBN. But if you want action fantasy programs and a little bit of drama adaptation then you're choice is GMA-7!!!

Watch out TV5 this year... Expecting a big reformatting as it is now under Manny pangilinan's HELM! It will surely eats much chunk of GMA7 And ABS-CBN's viewers... The more the merrier! Watch Out mga katropa, siguradong maraming celebs and network execs piracy ang mangyayari! Money will overflow with MVP's entry to the entertainment world.
