It’s not always the people with worries that should come to us for help. Sometimes, we need to be sensitive enough to know when to make the first move.

Just watch ASAP & SOP simultaneously and from there you can conclude which is the better station, talent & production wise...
Sa mga squatter areas, mas lamang ang GMA7 sa survey..But for the educated & average Filipino family, ABS-CBN is the station to watch...GMA7 is capitalizing on the poor with their mediocre but profitable programs..Look at what they did to 97.1 WLS FM, it used to be a great FM Station, quality program, great DJs, now, pinakabaduy na..why?because they changed the format & targeted the poor with their corny jokes & jukebox OPM songs.. pathetic network...GMA7 prefer quantity over quality, the reason why TFC continue to trump pinoyTV all over the world...

income tax ng GMA halos kasinlaki lang ng NET INCOME ng ABS-CBN sa buong 2008
GMA 7 pays income taxes equal to rival's earnings RUBY ANNE M. RUBIO, GMANews.TV 04/19/2009 | 09:56 PM Email this | Email the Editor | Print | ShareThis MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines’ leading broadcast company announced that it paid more than a billion pesos in corporate income taxes, an amount that is nearly equal to its rival’s earnings last year.
GMA Network Inc., which runs the country’s first and third-ranking free TV channels, paid P1.106 billion in corporate income tax in 2008, chief financial officer and senior-vice president for corporate services Felipe S. Yalong said in a statement.
The amount does not include other taxes paid for by the network including value added tax (VAT), withholding tax, among others, the company said in a statement.
“GMA leads in fulfilling its responsibiliti es as a corporate citizen as our corporate income tax almost equals our biggest competitor’s net income for 2008," Yalong said.
The company’s rival, Lopez-led ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. reported a nine percent increase in net income to P1.38 billion last year. The increase was attributed to higher revenues from airtime and direct sales, which rose by 12 percent to P22.3 billion.
For its part, GMA Network Inc. earned P2.369 billion in 2008, three percent higher than the previous year, thanks to increased airtime revenues from TV and radio.
The company also produces and broadcasts radio programs in 16 cities and one municipality across the Philippines on its wholly-owned network of 24 radio stations and one minority-owned radio station.
The company recently declared a cash dividend of P1.7 billion, equal to 70 percent of its 2008 net income.
Stockholders as of April 21, 2009 are entitled to receive 35 centavos for each share held which will be payable on May 11, the company said during an analysts’ briefing earlier this month.
The dividend payout is 40 percent higher than the 25 centavor dividend issued in 2008.
GMA Network has established itself as the most profitable broadcast company in the country for the past years with its 2008 net income being P1 billion higher than its rival’s net profit for the same year, the company’s statement said.
GMA Network Inc.’s online subsidiary, GMA New Media Inc. owns Media Merge Corp., which runs GMANews.TV.
Shares of GMA Network Inc. rose 10 centavos to P4.35 during Friday’s trading at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). - GMANews.TV
