Dingdong Dantes and Claudine Barretto banner Dinagyang and Bacolaodiat Festivals this weekend!
GMA Network is set to bring some of its biggest stars - led by no less than Kapuso leading man Dingdong Dantes and multi-awarded actress Claudine Barretto - to the cities of Iloilo and Bacolod this weekend to join in this year's celebration of the Dinagyang and Bacolaodiat Festivals!
The Dinagyang festivities kicked-off last January 13 with the "Dinagyang Festival: Opening Salvo" held at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, which had Protégé finalist Lirah Bermudez and Mark Bautista of Legacy and Party Pilipinas as guest performers. It was followed by the "Iloilo Festival Queen and Hiyas Ng Iloilo 2012 Coronation Night" last January 18. Supporters who showed up at the Robinsons Place Iloilo were entertained by the heartwarming songs of RNB Prince and Party Pilipinas mainstay Jay-R.
This Friday, January 20, My Beloved's Dingdong Dantes, Hiram Na Puso's Mark Herras, Party Pilipinas' Jay-R and Kyla together with stunning Kapuso stars Katrina Halili, Ynna Asistio and Miss Kapuso World 2011 Chloe McCulley are all set to provide an exciting and electrifying twist to the "Dinagyang Festival: Kapuso Night" happening at the Fountain Area of Robinsons Place Iloilo at 5pm. Joining them as event hosts are dazzling Isabelle Daza and GMA Cebu's Anna Maris Igpit.
On Saturday, 1pm, Kapuso personalities Mark, Katrina, Ynna, Isabelle and Chloe, this time with Aljur Abrenica, banner the "Dinagyang Festival: Kasadyahan Corporate Parade." At 10pm, joining Katrina and Anna to spice up SM's Dinagyang Food Festival and Street Party is the sexy Solenn Heussaff. Then on Sunday, 8am, Kokak's TJ Trinidad will participate in the "Dinagyang Ati Tribe Competition Parade" to escort the winners of Ms. Teen Dinagyang.
Another equally fun and exciting event awaits Kapusong Ilonggos on January 22, 4pm, as Optimum star Claudine Barretto together with Bela Padilla, Ehra Madrigal, Mikael Daez, Daniel Matsunaga and Paolo Contis participate in the "Dinagyang Festival: Kapuso Mall Show" at SM City Iloilo's carpark.
Kokak's Sarah Lahbati, The Good Daughter's Rocco Nacino and Rochelle Pangilinan will cap-off the festivities at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand on Sunday evening for the "Dinagyang Festival: Awarding Ceremony."
Meanwhile, Kapuso stars Claudine Barretto, Isabel Oli, Bubbles Paraiso, Steven Silva and Michelle Madrigal of Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit will begin heating up the Bacolaodiat fever on January 20, 4pm, as they join the Kapuso float in the "Bacolaodiat Festival: Grand Tsinoy Parade."
The following day, 5pm, set to delight Kapuso fans from the City of Smiles with great performance numbers in the "Bacolaodiat Festival: Kapuso Night" are Claudine, Isabel, Bubbles and Michelle together with Ehra Madrigal, Sid Lucero and Victor Aliwalas. It will be held at the North Capitol Road of Bacolod City.
Then, landing in SM City Bacolod's Event Center on Sunday afternoon for the equally anticipated "Bacolaodiat Festival: Mall Show" are Mark Herras, Ynna Asistio, Alden Richards, Victor Aliwalas and Rachelle Ann Go of Party Pilipinas.
