"One True Love" opens in cinemas on November 19

It's the heart that remembers what the mind forgets...that is the tagline of the upcoming movie of Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and Iza Calzado, which is expected to open on November 19.
 
In One True Love, a medical intern named Migs (Dingdong) will have to deal with the conflict between his heart and his mind. After three years of courtship, he is about to get married to Joy (Marian), a nurse who works in the same hospital as him. However, days before the wedding, his first love Bella (Iza) returns to the Philippines. The balikbayan is still single and still in love with Migs, whom she broke up with in the past when her family migrated to the United States for their restaurant business.

The women in Migs's life try to get along with each other but knowing that they are both in love with the same man give rise to feelings of jealousy and envy.

When Migs gets into an accident, he develops lacunar amnesia, a type pf amnesia that blocks off time periods from one's memory. In his case, it blocks off the three years that he was in love with Joy and leaving him with memories of Bella.

Joy finds it difficult to accept what happened to her loved one. The nurse vows to make his heart remember what his mind cannot. But can she compete with Bella, his childhood sweetheart?

Migs is confused by the attention lavished upon him by Joy but all that he remembers is his love for Bella. The balikbayan takes advantage of his love the second time around but deep inside, she feels guilty for taking away Migs from Joy.

Can Bella find it in her heart to continue with this situation or will she let go of Migs? Can Migs be able to choose who is his one true love?

Aside from the three main characters, One True Love will also star Bianca King as Ava, the younger sister of Migs, and Jennica Garcia as Raya, the younger sister of Joy. Ms. Tessie Tomas is cast as Mrs. Robles, the head nurse who becomes the landlady of Joy and Raya. Pinky Marquez and Chinggoy Alonzo are the parents of Migs while Boots Anson-Roa is the endearing lola of Joy.

GMA Films and Regal Entertainment will bring the romantic movie, One True Love, to the big screen starting November 19. It is directed by Mac Alejandre, the same person behind the GMA-7 teleseryes Marimar and Joaquin Bordado.
