Isang Tanong is a two-part special that puts together the 36 senatorial candidates of the May 2007 elections in a no holds barred forum, hosted by veteran broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez. It was first shown on GMA-7 and put together the senatorial candidates from different political parties. The televised forum aims to help voters be informed of the candidates' positions on key issues.
This special program of GMA News and Public Affairs was a fiery discussion from beginning to end as the candidates faced a panel of interrogators composed of Mel Tiangco, Jessica Soho, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Malou Mangahas and Winnie Monsod together with Conrado De Quiros and Manolo Quezon of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Alecks Pabico of the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, Maritess Vitug and Glenda Gloria of Newsbreak magazine and Fr. Francis Lucas of the Catholic Media Network.
This distinguished panel of interrogators will test the boldness, intention and sincerity of each candidate in a grueling question and answer portion.
Veering away from the usual sit-down talk or televised debate, Isang Tanong promises to be engaging as all question and answer portions will be controversial, strictly timed and unedited, no more...no less.
Get to know all the senatorial candidates by watching the replay of Isang Tanong airing today and tomorrow, May 11, over QTV-11 right after Balitanghali.
