Celebrities continue to battle it out as the ultimate game to outwit, outplay, and outlast take an unexpected turn this week in GMA-7's Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown.
Last Monday, December 5, rewards were up for grabs as host Richard Gutierrez challenged castaways to gulp down a most interesting blend of exotic ingredients such as cow balls, tamilok, saang or local sea shells, and other weird combinations to create the ultimate smoothie.
Meanwhile, for castaway Stef Prescott, the challenge of the game did not end there. A peaceful night at camp was disturbed as Stef got bitten by one of the island's most lethal dwellers: the Philippine Cobra. Find out if Stef will be able to get back in the game after a brush with danger.
Four weeks in the island and Richard announced yet another twist to the game. Alliances are put to a test as castaways from Bulan and Tala undergo a tribal shuffle.
Bulan will now be made of KC Montero, Gino dela Peña, John Odulio, Betong, Isabel Granada, and Arthur Solinap; while Tala will now comprise of Chuckie Dreyfus, Carlo Gonzalez, Maey, Arnold Aninion, and Mara Yokohama.
When Arnold reached the camp of Tala, he observed, "Talagang na-surprise ako na sobrang linis, yung beach nila mas maganda pa kaysa sa amin, yung shelter nila well-built."
Mara enjoyed eating rice again since she said that all they ate at the Bulan camp were coconuts.
In last night's episode, the two tribes competed for the "irrigation challenge" wherein they used pipes to carry water to their respective containers.When the container is full, it will release the puzzle pieces that will be used for the next portion of the challenge.
John represented Bulan while Carlo attempted to complete the puzzle for Tala. The first tribe to finish will win immunity.
