Kris Aquino dedicated the December 23 episode of Kris TV to her leading man, Dingdong Dantes.
The TV host-actress says about her Segunda Mano leading man, "[Si Dingdong] ang pinakagwapo kong leading man, for now."
They took the time to show viewers the contents of their respective vehicles and the special features that were added to their vans. Dingdong chooses to keep things simple inside his vehicle. As for Kris, the back seat of her vehicle could be laid flat horizontally to serve as her bed. The seats of the van can also double as massage chairs.
She interviewed the GMA-7 actor in Krave restaurant, which Dingdong opened just this month.
During the 2008 Star Awards for Movies, Dingdong was nominated as Best Director for his segment in the movie titled Angels. When asked if he has plans to continue being a filmmaker, Dingdong admitted that he wants to direct his own suspense film in the future.
Kris eased into the topic of Dingdong's love life by connecting it to their Metro Manila Film Fest entry.
Kris asked, "Our movie is about a man who was rejected by his wife. Meron na bang humindi kay Dingdong Dantes?"
The actor said sheepishly, "Hindi ko na maalaala, e." But he later revealed that he has not been turned down by any woman he has courted in the past.
"Nagkataon lang siguro kasi papasok ako sa isang relasyon, alam kong sigurado ako," he explained.
The host of Kris TV then directly asked Dingdong Dantes about his current girlfriend, Marian Rivera.
Kris: At what point in your life mo naramdaman na sigurado ka about Marian? Na this is the woman I want to spend my life with?
Dingdong: The moment I asked her to be my girlfriend, sure na ako. Kasi it was a very crucial decision.
Kris: Am I saying this correctly, you're a serial monogamist? Tinanong kita noon kung may time na nag-overlap and you said wala.
Dingdong: Three to four years ago gusto ko maging single muna.. yun edad na yun...siguro i was 27 that time.. parang masaya munang maging single pero i chose..
Kris: Single and successful.
Dingdong: Pero hindi yun ang pinili ko.
Kris: Why? Ayan ang dapat sagutin mo..
Dingdong: Kasi alam ko yung kaligayahan na makukuha ko, e, mas higit pa sa pagiging single kapag kasama ko siya.
Kris: Awww...how beautiful ang statement na yun. Girls i pagdasal n'yo 'yan. 'Yan na ang ating Christmas wish: "Ang kaligayahan na makukuha ko pag kasama ko siya ay higit pa kesa sa kaligayahan kung mag-isa lang ako."
Kris: How did she change your life?
Dingdong: Naparealize niya sa akin how human I am...kung ano kamalian ko naayos ko dahil sa kanya and vice versa. Kumbaga nagtutulungan kami, we help each other all the time in all aspects...hindi ako makaka move forward sa isang bagay without her by my side.
Kris: how important is it for you to have her approval sa decisions that you make and vice versa? Do you consult each other all the time?
Dingdong: Consult, yes. But not exactly looking for approval, kasi she may have her opinion meron din ako. At the end of the day maganda yun alam n'yo at nagkaka intindihan kayo.
