Former ABS-CBN actor Rafael Rosell is now officially an exclusive talent of GMA-7.


The hunk actor signed an exclusive contract with the Kapuso Network yesterday, August 23, 2012.

Present during the contract signing were [as seen in the picture, from left to right] Rafael’s new manager Popoy Caritativo, GMA OIC for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, and Assistant Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno.

During the contract signing held at the 16th floor boardroom of GMA Network, OIC for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable was quoted as saying: "Rafael, as we all know, is a very good actor. Dagdag talaga siya sa good stable ng actors ng GMA.”

After being welcomed by GMA executives, Rafael stated that he felt very honored and excited about this new chapter in his life.

“I was looking for change. Para akong naging artista ulit. Naalala ko yung una kong pagpunta sa Pilipinas. Sobrang excited ako and I was inspired. Yun yung nararamdaman ko ngayon kaya sobrang excited ako. It’s a new environment and new group of people that will help me improve more.”

Popoy Caritativo, Rafael’s new manager, is confident that the Kapuso Network will give his ward good projects. 

“GMA has always taken good care of the careers of my prime artists Marian [Rivera] and Dennis [Trillo]," Popoy began.

"When Rafael asked me to manage him, hindi ako nag-hesitate. Unang-una, I believe in his talent and I believe in him. Alam ko namang may lugar sa GMA for another leading man. Kumatok kami sa GMA and they welcomed him with open arms. So we’re here and I’m very thankful that they have good plans for him kaya we’re very excited."

Rafael is handled by Luminary Talent Agency.

He will guest on GMA-7’s upcoming primetime program Aso ni San Roque. Rafael will also work with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo, and Alessandra de Rossi via the Filipino adaptation of Temptation of Wife.
