Handang-handa na ang Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) at ang Airtime Marketing, Inc. sa gaganaping 28th Star Awards for Movies, sa Miyerkules, March 14, sa Meralco Theater.  Ganap na ika-5 ng hapon ang nakasaad sa imbitasyon bilang pagsisimula ng awarding ceremonies.


To be hosted by Aga Muhlach, Derek Ramsay, KC Concepcion and Anne Curtis, this year's 28th Star Awards for Movies promises to be another star-studded, glittering movie awards event.

Magsisilbing guest performers ang mga sumusunod:  Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Jake Cuenca, Maja Salvador, Matteo Guidicelli, Pauleen Luna, Ciara Sotto, Rodjun Cruz, Gab Valenciano, Robert Seña at Anja Aguilar.


Magre-render ng opening song-and-dance number si Anne Curtis, kasama ang The Maneouvers.  The awards presentation will be directed by Al Quinn, with Ms. Tess Celestino, of Airtime Marketing, Inc. as show producer.

Magsisilbing highlight ng presentasyon ang paggagawad ng dalawang special awards:  Ang Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award para sa veteran actor na si Eddie Gutierrez.

Ang batikan at multi-awarded filmmaker, teacher, writer, at producer na si Marilou Diaz-Abaya naman ang napili ng PMPC na bigyan ng natatanging parangal, ang Ulirang Artista Sa Likod ng Kamera, sa 28th Star Awards for Movies.

Sina Ruffa Gutierrez at Cesar Montano ang magsisilbing presenters ng mga parangal, respectively, para kina Eddie Gutierrez at Direk Marilou Diaz-Abaya.

Ang buong kaganapan ng 28th Star Awards for Movies ay mapapanood sa Linggo, March 18, simula ika-10 ng gabi, sa ABS-CBN.
